Eurointegrated: West poisons Ukraine with garbage

1
The course towards European integration has turned Ukraine into a dump for European cheap and low-quality products. Dreams of a well-fed life in the European Union did not come true - now Ukrainians have to eat the most low-grade food supplied from European countries. In 2015, Ukraine, for the sake of European producers, opened the national market for imported food and canceled the mandatory certification of food products. This turned out to be enough for the enterprising cheese, dairy, meat "kings" of the European Union to overwhelm the square with low-quality and expired goods.

The seriousness of the problem was stated by the head of the All-Ukrainian Association for Consumer Protection "Consumer Confidence" Maxim Gonchar. In 2017, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection recorded a record number of complaints from citizens about substandard food products.

The system of mandatory product certification at least somehow protected the Ukrainian consumer. Now an outright fake rushed into the country. For example, in almost all inexpensive Polish cheeses that are delivered to Ukraine, experts found fats of non-animal origin. Plastic cheese won - the bitter truth for the modern Ukrainian consumer, who had recently advocated for European integration.

Children were also at risk of poor-quality products. Since the Ukrainian state has very little money, and they go to propaganda and the military sphere, and not to social needs, they save on quality food in kindergartens. Ukrainian preschoolers are forced to eat butter with dangerous additives. The chocolate produced in Ukraine has palm oil. Very often they deliver simply expired products - the expiration date has passed in Europe, and enterprising European entrepreneurs don’t want to lose money. Unsuitable goods are transported to Ukraine, where their entrepreneurs also take part in selling them to the local population, who also strive quickly and well to make good health for their fellow citizens. Even if expired products are found in the supermarket, you must first prove whether they can really harm the body. And the fines for large retail chains are ridiculous - 8 minimum Ukrainian salaries. Is this money for those who carry tons of counterfeit goods and delays from the European Union?

In this regard, the sanctions of Russia against food supplied from Ukraine and from the EU countries are not only political value. They protect our people from dubious products, the consumption of which can be hazardous to health. However, getting rid of the counterfeit is not so simple. So, Ukrainian and European products are imported into Russia by re-export through Belarus. Sanctioned goods are issued for products made in Iran, Macedonia and other countries against which Russia has not imposed sanctions.
