In Russia, a ban on the movement of trucks along the tracks in hot weather

According to the order of the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) No. 1002 dated March 25, 2019, in Russia, from May 20 to August 31, 2019, the movement of heavy vehicles in the daytime is limited when the air temperature is, according to the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring (Roshydromet) will exceed 32 degrees. This is due to the fact that in the hot season after the passage of the trucks on the asphalt a track is formed, the road surface is deformed.

A full list of roads that are subject to restrictions has already been published on the website of the department (Rosavtodor). Now special signs materialize on the roads, and violators will be actively fined.

For example, the section of the M-9 highway in the Pskov region - from the 419th to the 616th kilometer, as well as the section of the M-10 highway in the Leningrad region - from the 593rd to the 674th kilometer will be closed. In addition, sections of other routes will be closed at the entrance to the largest transport hubs and administrative centers. The list is really long.

It should be noted that many Russian (still Soviet) roads are simply not designed to increase the load every year. The development of roads simply does not keep pace with the development of society and economics. After all, Russia is huge, it is not a small European country, but half the continent. Therefore, the qualifications of the road builders themselves are of paramount importance, Technology, technology, quality of materials, work and control.

But the owners of heavy vehicles are not involved in the construction of roads. All of the above is managed by Rosavtodor. In this regard, we sincerely hope that every year more and more high-quality roads will be built in Russia, on which traffic will not need to be limited.

It has been operating for a long time, for example, in the Volgograd region I saw such posters myself. Apparently, therefore, many truck owners leave this business. If you yourself, it is very difficult to carry goods in Russia in winter due to weather conditions - ice, snow, snowstorms. Now even in summer it will be possible to carry goods only at night 7-8 hours a day. Well, and who needs such an activity?

And how do countries with much warmer climates circumvent this? I think that just the road workers skimp on their responsibilities, and someone is lobbying for this.
