Japanese "bullet train" passes the first test

6
The world's fastest passenger train owned by East Japan Railway, is undergoing its first tests. The so-called “train-bullet” will perform test night flights twice a week between Sendai and Sin-Aomori stations. It is worth noting that on May 10 the device already made a successful trip without passengers on board.

Recall that a high-speed train called Alfa X can accelerate to 400 km / h. This, at the moment, makes it the fastest commercial express train in the world. According to the developers, in the conditions of daily operation, this train will transport passengers at a speed of 360 km / h.

The “bullet train” includes 10 wagons. Its streamlined bow has a length of 22 meters, which helps to reduce wind resistance. In addition to conventional brakes, the express received additional air, located on the roof, and magnetic, which are located next to the rails. The cars themselves are equipped with high-tech shock absorbers and air suspension, which ensures the stability of the composition on the corners and maximum comfort for passengers.

East Japan Railway intends to launch the high-speed Alfa X in full operation by 2030. Express will run on the Shinkansen Tohoku and Hokkaido lines. The latter is planned to extend to the city of Sapporo.

We would have such an train to Mytishchi ..!

She does not pay off. And given the scanty distance that a train at a speed of 250 km / h will fly in a matter of minutes, then there is no point in letting it go there.
Such trains are launched where there is a large passenger flow and solvent population. These are two basic conditions. For pleasure is not cheap.

Firstly, not in 2007, but in 2017, and secondly, the TGV accelerates to 320 km / h. I heard a jingle, but I don’t know where it is?

    Special for ringers like you.
    Quote from Wiki:

... On April 3, 2007, during the tests, the shortened train type TGV POS developed a speed of 574,8 km / h on the new LGV EST line (between Paris and Strasbourg, the line is equipped with PANDROL FASTCLIP rail fastening) ...

Of course, I understand that Wikipedia does not always adequately describe the hi-ki of domestic technology (often underestimates), but I did not notice about the Western one in idle talk.
    Sit down-Kol!

If you try to leave the topic because of the "Russian-language" version of Wiki, then here is the godless English edition:

... A modified TGV test train holds the world speed record for conventional trains. On 3 April 2007 a modified TGV POS train reached 574.8 km / h (357.2 mph) under test conditions on the LGV Est between Paris and Strasbourg.

Once again, at the desk to learn materiel.
