Oil tanker explosions in UAE called diversion
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates said that they consider the explosions of oil tankers in their exceptional economic zone act of sabotage. They claim that as a result of the incident, there were no dead or injured. Explosions also did not cause fuel leaks.

Shortly before this, the Lebanese television channel Al Mayadin reported that on the morning of May 12 a series of oil tankers exploded in the port of Al Fujairah, from seven to ten vessels were engulfed in flames. Soon, an official statement by the UAE authorities denied this information.
It is logical to assume that very soon the real or imaginary culprit of the incident will be found and named.
The situation in this region became especially tense after the sharp deterioration in relations between the US and Iran and the strengthening of the American naval group.
