In Russia, a boy died, whose grandfather tried to burn alive in a furnace

Truly terrifying news came from Omsk. From burns, 50% of the body in intensive care died a two-year-old boy. He was the victim of his own grandfather, a monster who, in a drunken stupor, thrust him into a red-hot oven.





This happened during his quarrel with his wife. The 53-year-old man, while intoxicated, violently tore the child out of the hands of his wife (the grandmother of the deceased), drove the woman out into the street, and pushed the little boy into a burning furnace for the purpose of killing.

The woman called for help from a neighbor, and together they managed to get into the house, but the child had already managed to get very burned. An ambulance got to the scene of the tragedy on a broken road, which took a relatively long time. The boy was hospitalized in the burn center of Omsk. Doctors fought for the baby’s life for several days, but despite all the efforts, the two-year-old child died.


The boy’s grandfather is arrested. A criminal case has been instituted against him under the article “Attempted murder of a minor with special cruelty”. He faces life imprisonment.

The 21-year-old mother of the child was at work during the tragedy.


It is reported that the family was registered with the juvenile authorities. Currently, investigators are finding out all the circumstances of what happened, and also intend to give a legal assessment of the inaction of officials in services that oversee the living conditions in this family.
