Pentagon - Trump: You are not a decree for us, we will not leave Syria

1
During recent performance in Ohio, US President Donald Trump expressed his intention to soon withdraw troops from Syria. But the Pentagon disagrees with the American leader.

The head of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces, General Joseph Water, spoke at the Peace Institute in Washington. He stated that the presence of the US military is necessary in Syria. Allegedly - to "liberate the country from terrorists" and "stabilize the situation" in those regions that have already been "liberated" by the American coalition. According to Wotel, it is necessary to return the refugees to their homes, but to achieve this goal without the military will be impossible.

He also said that over the past two years, the US army has made “progress” in Syria, but now new difficulties are emerging. Among these difficulties, Wotel noted the presence in the Middle East of the military of Russia, Iran and Turkey. The last general was condemned for the operation "Olive Branch", directed against the Kurds, which "significantly complicated the struggle of the United States."

As can be seen from this speech, the Pentagon general does not take into account the fact that Syria is a sovereign state, in the affairs of which no one has the right to intervene.

Firstly, placing the troops of Russia and Iran on a par with the Turkish army is categorically unacceptable. Operation Olive Branch is conducted without the consent of official Damascus and is as illegal as the involvement of the US military in the conflict. In this regard, the United States and Turkey are on the same level. The stay of the troops of Russia and Iran in Syria is a response to the call of Syria itself to help it in the fight against terrorism.

Secondly, Votel reveals that the true enemy of the United States in Syria is not the “Islamic State” (an organization banned in the Russian Federation). And Russia and Iran, which impede Western plans to overthrow the legitimate Syrian leadership.

Against this background, all good wishes such as "stabilizing the situation" and "returning refugees to their homes" are only verbal tinsel, covering the neocolonial aspirations of Washington and its allies to bring Damascus to its knees.

Even before Trump announced the need to leave Syria, the Pentagon planned to send a few dozen more troops to this country. This was reported by CNN, citing its sources in the Pentagon. Now, according to these sources, in the US Department of Defense, many are “embarrassed” by the words of the president.

During his campaign, Donald Trump has repeatedly promised that he will stop interfering in internal affairs in Syria. But, as we see, even if his intentions are sincere, in the States there are many forces that advocate the continuation of the criminal war in the Middle East.
The question is who will win this dispute. And also - to what extent Trump himself is sincere in his intentions, is he capable of defending his position and putting his words into practice.

but disagree with the American leader at the Pentagon.

If you do not agree, then write a report on dismissal or be silent in a rag. The author apparently did not know or forgot that the military have mattresses out of politics.

    but now new difficulties arise.

Since when have Russia, Iran and Turkey become new difficulties for them?
