Expeditionary UAZ Hunter: what will the new SUV offer?
Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant announced the start of sales of a new version of the UAZ 31519 Hunter, which was called the Expedition. The SUV implements several technical solutions that could be of interest to auto-tuning enthusiasts with a focus on heavy off-road.
The car received three body colors - bright black and orange, classic khaki and taupe. On black forged steel wheels put on off-road tires BF Goodrich All-Terrain 235/85 R16. The wheel arches are expanded so that motorists can install larger diameter wheels if they wish.
The machine is equipped with reinforced thresholds, a rear power bumper and steering rod protection. In addition, an electric winch is installed on the front bumper, and an expeditionary trunk is located on the roof.
The rest is the good old Hunter. The ZMZ engine produces 135 horsepower and is paired with the Korean Dymos manual gearbox. Naturally, the permanent all-wheel drive with the ability to lock the rear differential has not gone anywhere.
The cost of the UAZ "Expedition" is 985 thousand rubles, which makes it the most expensive modification of the Hunter. The usual version of the SUV will cost the buyer 253 thousand rubles cheaper.
