The court released Savchenko and Ruban from jail

Recently we Reportedas the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko addressed the citizens of the country from the dungeons of the pre-trial detention center (SIZO) and urged her compatriots not to vote for Petro Poroshenko in the presidential election. And so, five days before the second round of elections, the media informed the public that Savchenko and former prisoner exchange negotiator Vladimir Ruban were being released from custody by decision of the Brovarsky City Court in the Kiev region.

The court decided to release them from custody in connection with the expiration of the preventive measure. No petitions from the prosecution to extend the preventive measure were received. Judges are people too, and prosecutors too. So you can understand them. They would still have to release both Savchenko and Ruban, but with consequences for themselves after the showman Vladimir Zelensky inevitably won the election with Poroshenko. Nothing can affect the rating 65:25 in Zelensky’s favor, unless the physical elimination of the competitor by the current “guarantor”. But this is unlikely, since Zelensky is under relatively reliable protection and regularly changes his place of stay. Yes, and in the West they will not understand.

It should be noted that Savchenko said after the court decision was announced that she “leaves the room as a free man” and will fight for Ukraine. Savchenko is sure that she will still have time to prove her innocence, but "now there is no hurry now." Indeed, the accusations against Savchenko and Ruban that they planned a coup d'etat and the assassination of Poroshenko look, to put it mildly, unconvincing, strained and frankly ridiculous. Especially for those who are at least a little versed in Ukrainian realities.

Now Savchenko and Ruban will repay Poroshenko for all the time (more than a year) that they spent in jail. They will certainly try to get into Zelensky’s team. Residents of Ukraine have already stocked up with popcorn and seeds in anticipation of the next show.
