This April 13 said the English-language portal TechCrunch.

The culprits of the information leak were a group of ten crackers, whose name is not given. Hackers hacked a number of sites related to the Association of the FBI Academy, and posted the stolen classified information on the Internet. Among the published data were not only names, but also positions, email and physical addresses, phone numbers of employees of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation.

All this confidential information appeared on the website of the hacker group, whose address was not disclosed for security reasons.

Employees of the portal managed to meet with one of the group members and talk with him. In particular, he said that a hacker attack was not limited to hacking FBI sites. Attackers also stole data from about a thousand portals of US government structures. The stolen information is now being structured for subsequent sale to interested parties and organizations.
