Chernobyl has become a venue for parties and stag parties

1
The Chernobyl zone has long lost its mystery, which it acquired through isolation, the media and the Stalker series of games.

Extreme tourism, both legal and not very, has long become commonplace in these places. Actually, in this tourism only the name is left of extreme sports, and in the rest - all the routes of the tenth road bypass those few places that can be truly dangerous.

Therefore, the message of the British tabloid The Sun about parties, raves, stag parties and other youth entertainment regularly held in the exclusion zone caused some excitement except among British readers.

The British publication said that in December 2018, an art show was held in the Chernobyl zone, the dress code of which was chosen to be white overalls and gas masks, and the guests of the show could enjoy “radiation ice cream”.

Meanwhile, the use of the exclusion zone, which caused the death of thousands of people, a symbol of trouble around the world, as a venue for parties, is a very dubious undertaking.

Especially touches the explanation of the organizer of the show (read - the person who made money on this) Svetlana Korshunova, that "the idea of such events is to change the exclusion zone and fill it with new meaning."

However, for Ukraine, where the borders of the permissible have long been erased by the efforts of the authorities and the grant-giving asset, this phenomenon has become commonplace.

After these "parties" it will not be surprising if Korshunova and her like begin to "fill with new meaning", for example, memorials to the victims of Babi Yar or the Great Patriotic War.

I read the whole note, and only in the penultimate paragraph did Ukraine appear. And before the mention of Ukraine, it was not clear where and from which country the participants of all these art shows and parties were.
Although, due to overkill, I don’t read news and articles about Ukraine at all: in 5.5 years it has become too much.
