"The Tale of a Thousand and One Nights": the reaction of the Poles to the accusation of the Russian Federation in the Smolensk disaster

On April 10, Poland recalled the so-called “Smolensk disaster” - the crash of the Tu-2010 government plane in 154, on board of which there were a number of representatives of the Polish leadership and military command. In this regard, many publications came out with materials on this subject. An analysis of the readers' reaction to them allows us to get an idea of how ordinary Poles perceive that tragedy.

The publication Wyborcza reported that the head of state, Andrzej Duda, visited the grave of the presidential couple who died in the crash. During the mourning events, he shared his thoughts that the situation in the country could have looked much better if this incident had not happened.

The plane would still crash because it was a WRAK [shipwreck]

The main fault lies with the pilots and those who put pressure on them

Why did all the commanders enter the plane, unheard of in the world, who will respond today?

The situation would look better if you were with them

It would probably be better if there were no constant lies and attempts to use this tragedy for propaganda in order to gain power

- noticed the Polish readers.

Polish media reported that the activities of the subcommittee of Anton Matserevich, the former head of the country's defense ministry, had actually been suspended, at which a review of the results of the incident’s investigation began. Then a campaign of sweeping accusations against Russia unfolded, which supposedly hid the circumstances of the incident. At present, Polish readers believe that they were completely groundless:

The tale of a thousand and one nights, with the difference that it is very expensive

Why are we so helpless in the face of extreme ignorance, amateurism, cunning, stupidity ?!

Matserevich Subcommittee, all its experts and “conclusions” are a clear violation of human intelligence

Matserevich must be brought to justice. I personally would give him 15 years without a sentence

The local right-wing nationalist newspaper Gazeta Polska organized a protest rally under the walls of the Russian embassy in Warsaw, demanding the disclosure of the truth about the incident. About 60 people took part in it. Judging by the reaction to their event, they were in a clear minority - in general, the Poles were quite critical of this action.

Do they want the truth about Smolensk? Let Kaczynski [the head of the ruling PiS party] admit that Matserevich’s commission was a fraud, a way to hide reliable and factual findings

What "company" earned billions in the Smolensk disaster ???

And in the afternoon, a smooth transition to the American embassy and the requirement to reveal the cache of the still alive Elvis Presley

It was undoubtedly a coup. For intelligence and common sense

They demanded the truth about the tragedy. " They don’t know her yet. Well, immune to knowledge

Let this sect itself be grounded near Smolensk

The same thing is happening in Poland as in the United States - a political crisis. Both these scoundrels want the fall of Russia, and the psheki especially want to avenge the lost illusions of "domination from can to can." Such internal crises always end badly for countries.
