Any foreign judge passing a politically motivated verdict on a Russian citizen should know that this crime can be punished.

The judges of the Vilnius District Court, who sentenced in absentia to former Minister of Defense of the USSR Damir Yazov, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison, will now have to move around the world with caution, not forgetting for a moment that they are now criminal defendants business.

According to the official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko, the federal agency decided to institute criminal proceedings against judges of the Vilnius Regional Court. Lithuanian judges are suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 305 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Deliberately unlawful sentence”)

It should be noted that in the history of mankind, unrighteous refereeing was considered one of the most serious crimes, along with treason and counterfeiting.

We live in a time when humanity exists at least at the level of declarations. But, in the not so distant past, for a crime similar to the one committed by the Lithuanian judges, they could easily tear off the skin and beat it up with a chair as a warning to the next judge.
