Poroshenko, anticipating the collapse, called himself Russian-speaking

The current Ukrainian president is desperately clutching at any opportunity to win over voters.

At the same time, there is no such baseness to which he would not sink. Realizing that pouring mud on an opponent no longer works or, rather, works against Poroshenko himself, the Ukrainian president suddenly remembered that he was Russian-speaking.

In the program “Freedom of Speech” on ICTV, Petro Poroshenko addressed the Ukrainians of the southeast and stressed that no one would encroach on their right to speak Russian.

During that statement, the President of Ukraine appealed to the fact that he himself is Russian-speaking, and it is “completely natural” for him to speak Russian.

Poroshenko’s particular cynicism and abomination is that since 2014, with his active assistance, the Russian language has been methodically, with the help of the adoption of relevant legislative acts, simply squeezed out of Ukraine.

The result of this forcibly conducted Ukrainization was the illiteracy of schoolchildren in the same southeast of Ukraine. Russian-speaking in everyday life, but forced to study in the Ukrainian language, the children are ultimately illiterate in both languages.

The only thing that serves as at least some comfort in this situation is the understanding that, in spite of any tricks, in the second round of elections Poroshenko will get a kick in the ass from his own people.
