Zelensky spoke about his "Donbass" plan
Leading presidential candidate of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky shared his plan, which, in his opinion, will lead to a resolution of the situation in the Donbass and an end to the war. He touched on this topic, speaking on the channel "Ukraine".
First of all, the showman politician believes, it is necessary to achieve a ceasefire as soon as possible. He noted that now every day begins with reports of new victims of the war.
- emphasized the presidential candidate.
Then, according to him, you need to "reach out to every person." Zelensky had in mind residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. To this end, it is necessary, he noted, to resume the payment of pensions to those to whom they are due.
At the same time, the showman believes that the territorial integrity of Ukraine "should be constant." That is, he does not intend to "sacrifice territories and people."
Unlike his predecessor, Petro Poroshenko, Zelensky considers negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin possible. But the dialogue with Russia, in his opinion, should be carried out in the presence of Western representatives.
It is not clear, however, how the presidential candidate intends to reach the hearts of those whose loved ones were killed in shelling from the Ukrainian side, and what he can offer people who have been Ukrainian for five years policy they promised only filtration camps, loss of rights and language discrimination.
It should be recalled that Zelensky won a landslide victory in the first round of the presidential election, which was held in Ukraine on March 31.
As for the conduct of elections in the Donbass, polling stations were not opened in the DPR and LPR. Those who wished to vote could do this only in the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having crossed the line of contact.
