U.S. spying on Russian satellites revealed

The rivalry between the most powerful countries in the world has long been not limited to the surface of the Earth, the depths of the ocean or airspace.

As it became known from the report of the American Foundation for a Safe World, GSSAP American military spy satellites have repeatedly approached spacecraft from other countries and, first of all, to satellites for various purposes in Russia and China. It is reported RIA News".

The authors of the document report that American spy satellites are especially active in the geostationary orbit (located above the equator), where most of the commercial and military satellites rotate.

The ISON’s Russian Outer Space Observation Network, which relies on the authors of the report, began to record the intense maneuvers of GSSAP spy satellites immediately after they were first put into orbit in 2014.

Since then, spy satellites, trying to use the Earth’s shadow when observation with an optical telescope is impossible, have been moving closer to the satellites of other countries of interest for 10-15 kilometers.

However, maneuvers in the shadow of the Earth cannot be hidden from the Russian automated warning system about dangerous situations in near-Earth outer space (ASPOS OKP).

The American Foundation does not have data on how Russia implements in space counteraction to American spy satellites.

However, taking into account the achievements of Russian military electronics, there is no doubt that there is such opposition, and the report of the American fund can be regarded as a warning to the Pentagon that it might miss some of its satellites.

So there are spies to spy ... It’s strange if ours don’t spy either ...
