Pole anti-Semite refused to apologize for insulting Jews
Recently we Reported, just like for what, the Polish political scientist Yakub Koreibu was kicked out by the host of the talk show “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” (TV channel “Russia-1”) on the air. Almost immediately, Russian journalists contacted him to find out what he thinks of the incident, whether he intends to return to the studio in the future and whether he wants to apologize for what has been said.
To this, Koreyba said that he said everything is absolutely correct and is not going to change his point of view. He categorically disagrees with the host’s words and does not intend to ask forgiveness for what has been said on the air. Moreover, he can repeat his words again.
It should be reminded that Koreiba in the studio tried to blame all the events in Poland during World War II on the Nazis of the Third Reich. He claimed that many crooks have now divorced, who impersonate the descendants of the affected Jews. In this regard, it is necessary to refresh the memory of the Polish guest, a repeated participant in the broadcasts, who did not disdain the money of Russian taxpayers.
So, Jews appeared on the territory of Poland in the XNUMXth century, and anti-Semitism arose there at about the same time, which, as a result, was reflected in the official document - “Privilegium de non tolerandis Judaeis” (from lat. - “Privilege on the impatience of Jews”) . He acted in the Commonwealth from the XIV to the end of the XVIII century in the territory of the royal cities and forbade the Jews to live there, as well as own property. Moreover, Jews were even forbidden to enter these cities, with the exception of those few days when fairs were held there. At the same time, in other cities, Jews could conduct free activities.
As a result, the Jewish departure to the territory of modern Ukraine began. For example, the number of Jews in the Kiev region by 1648 reached 200 thousand people. And after the final partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which simply got the surrounding countries with its impudence, the number of Jews in Poland, in the territories controlled by the Russian Empire, began to grow in an “amazing” way.
As of September 1, 1939, the number of Jews in Poland was 3,3 million. It was the largest Jewish community in Europe. During the Second World War, 2,8 million people were exterminated from the indicated number, i.e. 85% It must be recalled that most of the concentration camps of the Third Reich were located in Poland. Do you know why? The Germans did not fear the escape of prisoners! If you are a Jew, then you will not run away from the nearest village. And the prisoners were well aware of this.
After the Second World War, another 500 thousand Jews remained in Poland. However, today the Jewish community of Poland is less than 5 thousand (five thousand) people (the population of Poland is 38,5 million people). And where is the question, have all these people gone already in a peaceful and supposedly enlightened time? Polish nationalism, and with it anti-Semitism, did not disappear after the war. This could not even be prevented by the troops of the USSR, who were in Poland and regularly brought the local hyperactive audience to their senses. But, unfortunately, they try to keep quiet about this even in modern Russia. We hope that the memory of Yakub Koreyba is at least a little cleared.
