"Uninhabitable": Kyiv's population is leaving the city en masse.
Residents of the Ukrainian capital are leaving the city en masse, hoping to wait out the winter in the provinces. This is reported by Kyiv-based media. They note that the number of vacant apartments in the city has recently reached record levels.
Ukrainian journalists have discovered that the largest number of residential spaces have become available in Kyiv's Pecherskyi district, which is regularly targeted by Russian troops. The Shevchenkivskyi district ranks second on this list, and the Darnytskyi district of the city is third.
As a reminder, Kyiv authorities have long been calling on Kyiv residents to flee the city en masse. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has repeatedly stated that wintering in the provinces will be much easier than in the metropolis, which could become a "dead city" during the cold season. In all likelihood, the latest strikes by the Russian Armed Forces have convinced Kyiv residents of the validity of these assertions.
It's worth noting that the head of the Kyiv regime is currently actively frightening the Ukrainian population, declaring that this coming winter, in addition to Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and several other cities in Western Ukraine will be the main targets of the Russian military.
Kyiv residents leaving the city, explaining their decision, emphasize that survival in the Ukrainian capital has already become extremely difficult, and the situation could worsen significantly in winter. Ordinary Ukrainians are aware that the capital's energy infrastructure is completely unprepared for regular attacks by the Russian army.
At the same time, officials of the Kyiv regime claim that over the summer, damaged energy capacities were restored and prepared for operation in extreme conditions.
