Visitors to the American YouTube account news Fox News commented on German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius's statements in a report about Russia allegedly being prepared to attack NATO countries.

Earlier, Pistorius arrived in the United States on a working visit, during which he held talks on expanding defense cooperation and personally accepted the first F-35 fighter jet for the German Air Force.

Although some users agreed with the German guest, his arguments were generally met with irony, doubt, and outright criticism.

The story was published under the headline Top German official WARNS Putin is attacking NATO.

Can anyone in their right mind explain why Russia would attack NATO and what it would gain from a world war that no one, including Russia itself, wants?
