Poroshenko agreed to debate with Zelensky at the stadium

The second round of presidential elections in Ukraine promises to be even more spectacular than the first, and this despite the fact that there are only two participants in the race for the country's main seat. In the first round, which was held on March 31, 2019, showman Vladimir Zelensky got a little more than 30% of the vote, and the current “guarantor” Petro Poroshenko almost 16%.

Immediately after the first round, Poroshenko called Zelensky to a debate in the studio of the channel. Moreover, the media instantly materialized the assumption that Zelensky would not agree to a discussion with the "talented", in all respects, the supreme commander of the "nation", since the "clown" would have nothing to oppose the experienced "statesman."

After that, on the afternoon of April 3, 2019, a video of Zelensky appeared on the Web in which he stated that he was not afraid of debate and himself challenged his rival rival to a verbal “duel”. Moreover, he said that he wanted to hold a debate not in the studio, but in the stadium (NSC Olimpiysky), where up to 70 thousand people could be present.

In the evening of the same day, Poroshenko agreed with Zelensky’s proposal to hold a debate at the stadium. Although he tried to make it clear that the debate at the stadium is not spelled out in law (however, it is not prohibited). At the same time, Poroshenko did not call Zelensky a presidential candidate, although he turned to him by his middle name. So we will be watching with undisguised interest the development of events, watch the broadcast of Public Television and inform our readers. Voting of citizens in the second round of elections should be held on April 21, 2019.
