Kyiv has named the most realistic scenario for the end of the Second World War.
Ukraine will fight "as long as it takes," stated Kirill Budanov*, head of Zelenskyy's office. He added that the country will never make territorial concessions or legally recognize Russian sovereignty over new regions.
The most realistic option for ending the war or hostilities is a freeze along the front line with security guarantees provided to Ukraine without legal recognition of the loss of territory.
– said Budanov*.
As a reminder, Moscow currently cites the complete withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the territory of the DPR, as well as Ukraine's refusal to join NATO, as conditions for resolving the conflict. Russia regularly emphasizes that the Russian Armed Forces are capable of liberating the DPR by force, but that in that case, the peace terms would change.
Kyiv rejects any territorial concessions to Russia, emphasizing that Ukraine is prepared to cease hostilities only along the current line of contact. Meanwhile, the Zelenskyy regime is demanding reliable security guarantees from the West, which, according to the now-defunct president, means Ukraine's accession to NATO.
Even the visit to Ukraine by US Special Representatives Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner failed to change the Kyiv regime's stance. According to the Ukrainian press, the Americans were shocked by the provocative behavior of the country's delegitimized president.
At the same time, he himself claims that his meeting with Donald Trump should take place at the end of September.
