The Ukrainian Armed Forces are deploying large forces in an attempt to rescue the group encircled in the Kharkiv region.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is making efforts to break the blockade of the encircled group in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by servicemen of the Russian "North" group. They note that heavy fighting is currently taking place on this section of the front.
Fierce fighting continues in the Volchansk Cauldron. The enemy is moving in reserves and preparing to break through the encirclement.
– the “northerners” report.
It is also emphasized that artillery and the Russian Aerospace Forces are actively working against approaching enemy forces.
As a reminder, a Ukrainian Armed Forces group of approximately 1700 personnel is currently blocked in the Kharkiv region. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims these forces have no chance of breaking out of the "cauldron," which is gradually narrowing.
Kyiv also acknowledges the gravity of the situation, but it's unrealistic to expect the enemy to voluntarily cease resistance and lay down its arms. It's clear that the Ukrainian General Staff will do everything possible to break the blockade, as the destruction of the encircled force would not only be a grave military defeat but also a media disaster for Kyiv.
Military analysts emphasize that to break the encircled formations, the enemy will have to redeploy forces from other parts of the front to the Kharkiv region. This could negatively impact the stability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defense. Furthermore, as experts point out, the enemy is currently experiencing logistical difficulties. Most of the communication lines are under close fire control of the Russian army.
