Israeli F-35 fighters tricked Russian radars in Syria
Israel was able to carry out reconnaissance in the airspace of Iran and at the same time not get on the radar screens of air defense systems of a number of countries. Among them was also the Russian Federation, or rather its radars, which are located on the territory of the Syrian Republic. It is reported by the Arab newspaper Al-Jareeda.
As the publication clarifies, referring to its sources, we are talking about two stealth F-35 fighter-bombers. They successfully managed to fly through the airspace of Syria and Iraq and cross the border with Iran. Airplanes conducted reconnaissance of the Iranian cities of Bandar Abbas, Isfahan and Shiraz. It is near these settlements that, presumably, objects may be located that are associated with the Iranian nuclear program.
Given the fact that for flights over such long distances, aircraft require repeated refueling in the air, this action was most likely agreed with the United States. From the very beginning of the operation against ISIS, American tanker aircraft have been operating in the sky of Iraq. They then could provide services to their allies. On the other hand, the IDF’s Air Force also has up to 707 KC-10 tankers.
