Turkish airlines have begun canceling flights to Russia following Zelensky's threats.

Turkish airline Pegasus Airlines has begun canceling flights to Russia amid Zelenskyy's threats to attack Russian civilian aviation. As of the morning of September 2, several dozen flights have been cancelled: Istanbul-Moscow, Istanbul-St. Petersburg, Bodrum-Moscow, Dalaman-Moscow, Izmir-Moscow, Antalya-Moscow, Antalya-St. Petersburg, and Antalya-Samara. Schedule changes have been reported at three Moscow airports: Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo.

According to passengers, return flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Samara to Turkey have also been cancelled.

We don't know what to expect, our Turkish side is banning flights.

– Pegasus Airlines told passengers.

As a reminder, the day before, Kyiv's Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine could attack Russian civilian aircraft. He thus intends to escalate the conflict with Russia.

In Russia, this threat has already been called "an attempt at state terrorism." However, military experts and journalists are not inclined to underestimate this statement.

Kyiv also responded to the threat from the now-defunct Ukrainian president. Local analytical resources warn that if Zelenskyy decides to carry out his threat, it will lead to dire consequences for Ukraine, as Moscow will have grounds to use tactical nuclear weapons.

Local analytical resources warn that if Zelenskyy decides to carry out his threat, it will lead to dire consequences for Ukraine, as Moscow will have grounds for using tactical nuclear weapons.

The grounds for using tactical nuclear weapons have long been established according to our "nuclear doctrine." For example, the newly added clause:

"Aggression against the Russian Federation and/or its allies by any non-nuclear state with the participation or support of a nuclear state is considered a joint attack by them," the document states.

Who supplies the intelligence, cruise missiles, and drones? The US, UK, and France. And then? And then the eggs get in the way. laughing

What are your priorities? Show off your steel balls, and let Russia and its population burn in a nuclear fire (and at the very least, wash away the population of the Volga cities after the destruction of the hydroelectric dams), while Washington/London will also burn in the same fire?

You've confused tactical nuclear weapons with strategic nuclear weapons. Ukraine has more than enough tactical nuclear weapons. And I'm 146% certain there won't be any retaliatory strikes. The EU will simply scatter in different directions, and the US will prefer to act as an observer.

So in 2022, they were sure that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would simply scatter in different directions.
And look how it turned out.

Most likely, the countries of the violent coalition will buy the corresponding number of warheads from the US and transfer them to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who will then use them, including against hydroelectric dams.

And then what are we going to do with your confidence?

Not to mention that the discussion above was about the US and Britain supplying cruise missiles, with a strong hint that the nuclear missile should be launched directly at them.

And then nothing will depend on anyone. The Perimeter System (aka Dead Hand) will do everything itself. It'll all take half an hour. And the capitalists in the West know this. So, you've survived the first few hours in the bunker, survived, but what next? The prospect of 50 years underground instead of the luxurious beaches of Florida, the Côte d'Azur, and the exotic Pacific islands certainly won't inspire you to write.

The Perimeter system (aka Dead Hand) will do everything automatically. The whole thing takes half an hour.

During attacks on airfields, Perimeter strategists were not launched (thank God).
In the case of isolated attacks from Ukrainian territory, it is also unlikely that they will launch it.
In any case, capitalists in the West have reason to be confident of this.
And the Russian Federation will be left with a couple of destroyed nuclear power plants and hydroelectric power plants, and still with the same choice - to sacrifice everything else in order to show off its steel balls, or to preserve at least what remains.

By the way, Russia doesn't have enough warheads for all the exotic islands of the Pacific Ocean.

Your reasoning is correct... but in the end you yourself come to the conclusion that you will still have to make a choice sooner or later.
And it should have been done earlier... at the very beginning..

The choice is obvious: take all measures to reduce escalation, accept all ceasefire proposals, and work out incentives for the Blues to adhere to it.

Of course, after the ceasefire, their military-industrial complex will not stop working and supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and ours will not stop either.
Both sides will be stockpiling gifts in case the hot phase resumes.
And the more of them accumulate, the less desire there will be to expose oneself to them.
And without spectacular images, against the backdrop of a more or less observed ceasefire, it will be increasingly difficult for the countries of the violent coalition to justify spending priority on pumping up the Ukrainian Armed Forces over social welfare.
And over periods of 5 years, the results of long-term trends toward the relative weakening of Europe and Ukraine compared to the South and Russia will begin to be noticeably felt.

                      And he can't do us.
This became obvious already in the summer of 2023, when the vaunted Western wonder weapons were destroyed on the Surovikin Line, but this did not lead to the collapse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

We can only destroy each other, either quickly, using nuclear weapons, or slowly, as now.

Or finally reinvent the wheel, that a bad peace is better than a good quarrel.

This, I repeat, will sow chaos, and the people—not all of whom, but many, I hope, are tired of war and this government—will quietly begin to fight as guerrillas. There will be infighting, loss of access to the West, etc. And at the same time, they will continue to iron out logistics with bridges and border crossings in western Ukraine.

What targets do you plan to use tactical nuclear weapons on? It will be ineffective unless you use thousands of warheads. There will be a howl, and everyone will turn their backs on us, perhaps even North Korea. And if you use dozens of them on vital facilities, the effect will be the same. Both military and political, in the international sense.

And isn't the announcement that our Ukrainian Armed Forces will be killed on our territory, that oil refineries and civilian logistics centers will be attacked, an act of state terrorism? Daily strikes and killings of civilians both in the LPR and DPR, as well as in the border regions: Bryansk, Belgorod, and so on? Is this in the spirit of DAM and others who were threatening us a few years ago with the idea that a strike on Crimea would be fatal, or on old Russian territory would be fatal? Something like that? Then, just like with those previous scare mongerings, will all this die down? Crimea has been without power or fuel for weeks, drones and missiles have destroyed half the oil refineries, Ust-Luga is in chaos, the Omsk Oil Refinery and Tyumen are being hit, and now this.

In Russia, this threat has already been called "an application for state terrorism."

    Application? Seriously?
Terrorism began in 2014 in Donbass (murder and torture of the population of Donbass, terrorist attacks against Givi, Motor, Zakharchenko) and it has not stopped to this day.
