Ukraine demands the ITU block Russia's Rassvet satellite constellation.

Kyiv has appealed to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to ban the Russian Rassvet satellite constellation from operating over Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha announced this, declaring that the system poses a real threat to Ukraine's security.

Today, we officially appealed to the International Telecommunication Union with a request to exclude the national territory of Ukraine from the declared service areas of all beams of the Russian military satellite system "Rassvet" in all frequency ranges.

- Sibiga reported.

He added that the corresponding note was transmitted to the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau through the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.

We call on all partners to support our position and take all possible steps to block the operation of Rassvet – not only over the sovereign territory of Ukraine, but also over the sovereign territories of other countries.

– said the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Kyiv regime.

It's worth noting that the launch of Russia's Rassvet satellite constellation has caused genuine panic in Ukraine. Kyiv's military intelligence and relevant experts say Rassvet is being deployed faster than expected. They estimate that the system is already capable of providing several stable periods of communication over Ukraine, although it does not yet provide continuous coverage.

It should be added that the ITU does not have mechanisms to prohibit satellite flights over Ukrainian territory and the reception of signals from them.

Just as one rabid animal can cause a rabies epidemic, so a crazy Ukraine will cause all international organizations to go crazy.
And some believe that it is impossible to destroy the crazy leaders...
Yes, it is possible and necessary.
If it weren't for Gorbachev, what kind of country would we be living in today?!
Maybe it wouldn't be China that supplied us with crossovers, but we would be supplying them to China.

Wow, was that even possible? belay
StarLink is a threat to the entire planet; it needs to be banned... wassat
How does Andrey Sibiga, a citizen of a non-existent state, propose implementing the ban?
Will they send TCK personnel into low orbit along with the "minibuses" to arrest Russian satellites?
We could also station Ukrainian traffic cops with striped batons at the "crossroads" of near-Earth orbit and issue fines for flying in the wrong place... wassat

But seriously, does Sibiga think the US needs such a legal precedent in international law?

Here it's rather the other way around. It's the rabid West that's infecting everyone around it. How many people have been infected by that rabid dog Soros alone? It was Ukraine that was bitten by rabid Western dogs, not the other way around. So now they're running around foaming at the mouth... They've infected quite a few of ours, too. These guys are running around foaming at the mouth, too.

But, as we see, who would have allowed us to develop like this? This would only have been possible through the mobilization of society, but by that time society had already deflated—no one was ready to mobilize (they wanted lace panties). Now, we've rested, had a taste of their just world order, and can rush forward with renewed vigor, mobilized and working for the good of the country. But there is one significant BUT—the Kremlin must lead by example.

Wow, there actually is such a union! And we're part of it too?
Well, if we go in, then now they will demand that we turn off everything above the outskirts, and “ours”, who always observe international law for slaves, will agree!

...I seriously doubt that the "galley slave" would agree to this.
According to information as of April 2026 and the "opinion" of Alice's algorithms

Russia is part of ITU Region C (Eastern Europe and Northern Asia) and intends to regain seats in two important ITU bodies: the ITU Council and the Radio Regulations Board (RRB).

The Council simply coordinates the use of frequencies for civilian purposes. This doesn't apply to military satellites. Military satellites, moreover, don't use Western communications infrastructure, so shutting them down is a fantasy if Western structures have no control over it.
Well, now it’s probably possible for everyone to judge the inadequacy of a number of governance structures in Ukraine.
This message must have caused Homeric laughter at the Control Center of our satellites.

    This is clear.

    something else is interesting.
Has Russia approached Starlink on a similar matter?
    or:
    1) They delayed and didn't contact us.
    2) They considered it nonsense and didn’t contact them.
    3) They themselves are quietly using it (they wrote that the Ministry of Defense and the elite are using it with all their might, with tricks), they did not contact
    4) they contacted, but did not inform the population

    What do you think?

...if you're interested in the blonde's opinion, until we get our seats back on the ITU Council and the Radio Regulations Committee (RRC), we'll sit quietly and keep our cool.

Why Ukraine can, does, and demands a ban on the Russian Rassvet satellite constellation operating over Ukrainian territory.
And nothing similar was said from our side regarding Starlink?
There is a certain toothlessness and lethargy in the entire foreign policy.

...why the toothlessness? Musk was warned to think about the consequences. And the fact that the X-Men use Starlink means they have their own "Kulibins"

You need to appeal higher, to aliens, but the ITU won’t be able to help.

Can anyone explain what this means in practical terms? How can the ITU shut down our satellites? I understand that a satellite can be shot down, blinded, or its signal jammed—but two can play that game. But shutting it down?!

When there's a war going on and fighting is underway, no one will pay attention to the opinions of organizations like the ITU. It's just empty talk. Israel even ignored the UN Security Council's warnings. So, it's all empty talk.

Why is it that our people observe international laws (which no longer exist), and that's why we're getting the full brunt of it and digging around like dung worms for the fifth year, but we can't liberate Donbass!

Ukraine demands the ITU block Russia's Rassvet satellite constellation.

It turns out the satellite constellation is working, despite the local doomsayers' entreaties. It's working effectively. And Kyiv has officially confirmed this.

    Dear transmission!
    On Saturday, almost crying
    The whole Kanatchikova cottage
I was torn to the TV.
    Instead of eating, washing,
There it is, prick and forget,
    The whole crazy hospital
    Gathered at the screens.
    Let the crazy idea
You do not chop in a haste.
    Call us soon
Through the bastard of the head physician!
    Respectfully ... Date. Signature.
    Answer us, and then,
    If you do not respond,
We will write ... in "Sportloto"!
