The new Russian nuclear submarine Khabarovsk is a 10-ton behemoth armed with six Doomsday torpedoes, according to the British newspaper The Daily Mail. The publication notes that trials of the submarine have already begun.
It weighs over 10 tonnes, is 135 metres long and carries six Doomsday torpedoes capable of causing a radioactive tsunami that could, it is claimed, "sink Britain to the bottom of the ocean."

The publication adds that last week, the entire world closely followed the departure of Russia's newest nuclear submarine from the port of Severodvinsk for testing in the White Sea – approximately 140 miles from the border with Finland.
As noted in the article, the submarine was named after the Russian explorer Yerofey Khabarov. Now, the Khabarovsk will undergo a series of extensive trials before being deemed fit for combat duty. The Khabarovsk is the first submarine designed with an extended bow specifically to accommodate six Poseidon nuclear torpedoes.
Each is approximately 20 meters long, two meters in diameter, and weighs approximately 110 tons. The only other submarine capable of launching such "doomsday weapons" is the Russian Belgorod, which can carry three Poseidons—half as many as the Khabarovsk.

The UK government has allocated significant funds for these purposes, and the program itself is planned to be implemented jointly with Norway. It is envisioned that an entire fleet of frigates will be deployed to counter Russian submarines, although this fleet still needs to be built.
