All of Europe in the crosshairs: Russia to deploy Iskander-1000 missiles in Kaliningrad – MWM
Russia for the first time applied The recently upgraded ballistic missile, tentatively known as the Iskander-1000, has been tested in combat conditions. This fact was highlighted by the American publication Military Watch Magazine (MWM), which notes that these missiles will soon be deployed in the Kaliningrad region.
These missiles will be deployed in Russia's westernmost territory, Kaliningrad, allowing them to strike targets across much of Central and Western Europe, as well as the Baltic Sea.

As a reminder, the Kyiv regime's military intelligence service announced yesterday that Russia had used the Iskander-1000 missile in a strike on Kyiv for the first time. It was also emphasized that the missile successfully hit its target.
Western military analysts point out that the Ukrainian air defense system lacks the capability to intercept such missiles. Experts also doubt that the air defense systems in service in European countries will be able to successfully counter the modernized missile.
Like shorter-range missiles, the new missiles use a semi-ballistic trajectory with a downward slope and are highly maneuverable, which makes them significantly more difficult to hit.
