Ukraine offers Russia three options for a ceasefire.

16 875 66

Kyiv is offering Moscow three options for a ceasefire, according to Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the now-defunct Ukrainian president. He added that Zelenskyy is ready to engage with the Kremlin on this matter.

Zelenskyy offers Russia three options for a ceasefire: an air ceasefire, strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, and a cessation of hostilities along the current line of contact.

– Podolyak said.

He added that the head of the Kyiv regime is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As a reminder, Moscow cites the complete withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the territory of the DPR as a condition for resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Russia regularly states that the terms of the cessation of hostilities will change as Russian forces advance.

Western analysts are already signaling that Russia will not return to Ukraine the territories occupied by Russian troops in the border regions of Kharkiv and Sumy. They also emphasize that the Russian Armed Forces will be able to liberate Donbas independently by the end of this year.

Moreover, some experts claim that Moscow has not abandoned its plans to liberate Odessa, which is necessary to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea. Russian troops have already almost completely blockaded Ukrainian ports, depriving Kyiv of the ability to export grain and steel.

Let us add that earlier the head of the Kyiv regime Zelensky stated that he intends compel Russia to cease hostilities before winter. However, Ukrainian analysts note that it will be difficult for the delegitimized president to carry out his threat.

And who will determine the "historicity" of Russian lands? A nano-advantage? After all, only they can spin fables about Donetsk being historical, while Chernihiv, which is centuries old and all associated with Russia's victories and pain, is not...

And Kerch, which is 2600 years old, whose historical land is it?

There is no "historicity", there are borders established by the results of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and borders paid for with the blood and heroic deeds of 27 million people.

And all those who talk about the Hungarian "historicity" of Transcarpathia are common traitors. They will later surrender Kaliningrad and the Kuril Islands...

If they declare mobilization for the so-called expansion of liberated lands, these people will immediately scale back their desires. Because it's one thing to write from the safety of a couch about the need for Odesa, and quite another to do so from a trench where drones are flying in.

I'm explaining it to you as a defeatist.
All of Ukraine is historical lands of Russia and there should be no state of Ukraine.
Stalin gave Transcarpathia, like Galicia and Bukovina, to Ukraine, and for that reason your employers, for whom you toil here, are so unanimously "thanking" him today.
For betraying unity and working for the enemy, this Ukraine must be destroyed and a new Ukraine built in its place.

lord-pallador-11045, the first to go into the trenches should be those who want to show how to fight properly, and who want to conquer more Ukrainian territory and denazify more. Or those who, like you, call for the first strike on NATO.
I have no reason. I never say that we're fighting badly or incorrectly. I always present arguments against expanding the conflict. Look, you're advocating for war with NATO. So, grab a gun and go ahead and attack. And I like to look at the sun lounger at the dacha, where my neighbor is sunbathing. Meanwhile, I was weeding a small bed of herbs. For the first time in 15 years, I sowed them myself. The parsley sprouted late, and the bed was already overgrown with weeds. Dill and cilantro are lagging behind, too. But we're already actively eating three types of salad. I also walked through the forest in the heat and picked a few mushrooms. I used six of these sturdy birch mushrooms and russula mushrooms to cover the bottom of the basket.

Merkel even provided her own interpreter and immediately asked that everything she said be kept secret. She admitted that the Minsk agreements were only meant to deceive Russia and, in the meantime, pump Ukraine full of weapons," Vovan and Lexus recalled.

Has another agreement been proposed that, once again, Ukraine initially intends not to implement?

Russia, first and foremost, needed the Minsk agreements. As it was, the start of the Second World War clearly demonstrated that Merkel had failed to pump Ukraine with weapons. On the second day, Russian tanks reached Kyiv, wiping out a Ukrainian army twice its size along the way.

But, since we got here on the second day to Kyiv, then it is obvious that it was indeed a march, and that it was victorious.
Remember that there were 130,000 of us and 270,000 of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And since we passed through troops twice as numerous, that means we scattered them. And so much so that 10 million Ukrainians fled abroad in fear.Which is really helpful to us in the SVO now.
The losses that we have now were nowhere near what they were back then. Minimum minimorum.

In exchange for a bunch of other concessions, which will obviously not happen when in 2-3 years the Russian Armed Forces occupy the DPR anyway, and in addition to the DPR, also territories in other regions.

        I doubt they will ripen.

Yes, I'm just saying that rhetorically.
Obviously, for the lords-atamans, the loss of territory in harness skirmishes is less of a loss of face than agreeing to hand it over to the Russian Federation without a fight.
So yes, it is most likely that a ceasefire in the LBS will be established after the capture of the entire Donetsk region, and certainly the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.
Then each side comes out of the conflict with a good face despite a bad game.
The "Blues" will pretend that they forced Putin to make peace through the LBS.
Putin will wryly note that, as he said in Anchorage, "if Ukraine doesn't voluntarily hand over the Donetsk region's territories, he'll take them by force"—and that's exactly what happened. Unless, of course, current trends change.

          Uv. Nelton, I agree.
Why should they change, if we've been advancing at the same average pace for three years now? On the contrary, things could change for the better. Because mobilization isn't making up for losses, and the new Ukrainian Armed Forces are increasingly lacking in motivation and skills. And now the cumulative effect of our attacks on logistics—dry cargo ships, diesel locomotives, and the nuclear power plant—will begin to take its toll.
