The enemy claims the last surviving oil refinery on Russian territory has been destroyed.

Kyiv regime militants today launched a drone attack on the Omsk region, located two and a half thousand kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Local authorities have already confirmed the destruction of an industrial hub in the regional capital, while enemy forces claim the destruction of the Omsk Oil Refinery—the last oil refinery in Russia, which until recently had not been attacked.

The Russian Ministry of Defense's air defense forces continue to repel the enemy attack. Several drones managed to reach the northern industrial hub of Omsk. Emergency services are taking the necessary measures to mitigate the consequences.

– said the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko.

He appealed to local residents not to approach the fallen UAV debris and not to post the aftermath of the strike online.

As a reminder, Ukrainian Armed Forces militants have recently been regularly attacking Russian oil refineries with drones. Kyiv makes no secret of the fact that by striking fuel and energy facilities, they hope to trigger a fuel crisis in Russia, provoke mass protests, and force Moscow to negotiate.

At the same time, the European press claims that active assistance to Ukraine in this matter has US intelligence, which plots drone routes to bypass Russia's air defense system.

It should be added that regular enemy attacks on Russian oil refineries have already triggered fuel shortages in most regions of the Russian Federation and forced Moscow to begin importing gasoline.

It smells like betrayal! A massive strike of 500-600 UAVs on the Northern Fleet would nullify its capabilities. Its range already allows it. What will the Kremlin's herald and his patron "sing" then? How sad!

Well, we certainly don't believe the enemy's statements here. They're clearly lying. But the actions of the regional leadership and the suspicious silence of official mouthpieces are alarming.

On the other hand, what else can you expect from the one-sided game that our "elite" is playing with the West?
Ukraine's statehood has long been a "corpse." The enemy has stuck its hand in this corpse and is using it to strike us, but we're not responding to the enemy (just in case). Well, that's it. Neither the USSR nor the US had air and missile defenses designed to intercept even what they had back then. The balance of power was based on mutual strikes. And this principle applies not only to nuclear weapons. It's universal. Europe's air and missile defenses aren't even close to Russia's, so they can't stop almost anything, but they have oil refineries, fuel storage facilities, and much more...
Yes, this will be an escalation, and there's no point in counting on "friendship" after a pacification. But Russia doesn't need such "friends" anyway. And if that's the case, what are we waiting for?

alex-defensor, you're just looking in the wrong place.

Drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) attacked the Omsk Oil Refinery (ONPZ). the governor of the Omsk region reported Vitaly Khotsenko on his Telegram channel.
"Enemy UAVs attacked the Omsk Oil Refinery. Russian Defense Ministry air defense systems destroyed most of the drones. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries," he wrote.

An A-50U airborne early warning and target designation aircraft and a Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet of the Russian Aerospace Forces were spotted over Omsk tonight while repelling a Ukrainian drone attack on a local oil refinery.

from the "one-sided game" that our "elite" is playing with the West?

Well, at least in one. Look at the beauty that was in Kyiv last night:

We don't respond to the enemy in any way (otherwise you never know)

We respond. We're doing exactly the same. We're supplying Iran with Russian weapons and targeting its missiles and drones at American and European military bases in the Persian Gulf region.

Yes, this will be an escalation, and there's no point in counting on "friendship" after a pacification. But Russia doesn't need such "friends" anyway.

It's not for you to judge who Russia needs and who it doesn't. The main thing here is to avoid drawing Russia into a war on two fronts.

I do not consider what remains of the former Ukraine and its combatants in the form of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to be an independent force and party to the conflict.

They're a tool in the hands of Russia's true enemy. We're fighting a tool instead of the true enemy. So yes, for now it's a one-sided game.

Figuratively speaking, they hit us in the face, and we, in response, hit them in the glove...

            Quote: Igor M.

I really hope that's exactly how it is. Because such a scenario would truly be fair... but, unfortunately, not equal. Iran isn't striking either the US or the EU. In that region, it's again hitting its "instruments," which, in case anyone hasn't figured it out, include Israel, which has long served as a "wavebreaker" in the Islamic world, which is very beneficial to Europe and the US.

            Quote: Igor M.
It is not for you to judge who Russia needs and who it does not.

Perhaps you meant to say that it is not up to me to decide?
Yes, it's not up to me to decide; I'm not the decision-maker. However, I have every right to form my own opinion... just like you.

            Quote: Igor M.
The main thing here is not to drag Russia into a war on two fronts.

We've already discussed this. You think that by attacking the rear (the basis of any successful war), Russia is opening a second front. But I don't think that's the case.

The success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operations directly depends on warehousing and transport logistics outside its territory. Disrupting supply lines by shifting strikes into enemy territory will weaken the Ukrainian Armed Forces' supply chain, and very quickly.

The removal of oil refineries and fuel storage facilities will quickly deplete the Ukrainian Armed Forces' mobility capabilities, and, mind you, the use of UAVs, which require both powerful repeaters and autonomous generators. What do these generators run on?
VO and Reporter have articles detailing the organization of forward reconnaissance posts and the use of drones. This whole setup consumes a lot of energy...

Needless to say, this is an excellent counterargument. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are destroying our oil refineries, and the Russian Armed Forces are destroying the oil refineries that supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Alex-defensor, well, maybe you should look at what the CIPSO manual recommends. Because you lied about "official mouthpieces being silent," to which they immediately quoted the regional governor's words.

knew my position on this issue

I know because you constantly criticize the Russian authorities in every post. And under far-fetched pretexts like "silence of the megaphones."

fight the real enemy. So yes, for now it's a one-sided game.

What kind of a gate is this, if Russia has gained almost 100 square kilometers of new territory and 5 million new citizens. And before that, it got Crimea and 2 million citizens for free. Judging by this, our true enemy is actually our friend, and his enemy is Ukraine.

Figuratively speaking, they hit us in the face, and we, in response, hit them in the glove...

And we're actively increasing the size of our country and its population. A little punishment for that is worth it. After all, the era of large-scale territorial acquisitions is long gone. And in this regard, we're lucky, one might say.

Iran does not strike either the US or the EU.

The military bases of these countries are their territory. Americans and Europeans are dying there, and their weapons are being destroyed—exactly what we need, according to your logic.

              But I don't think that's true.

And you clearly haven't heard anything about NATO either. You're deaf and blind on one side.

The success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operations directly depends on warehousing and transport logistics outside its territory. Disrupting supply lines by shifting strikes into enemy territory will weaken the Ukrainian Armed Forces' supply chain, and very quickly.

And this will only increase the success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as they will receive support from European and NATO armies. Right now, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are beyond any expectations. Because we are advancing, and they are retreating. But no one can predict what will happen after direct intervention by Western troops. Why take such risks when everything is already going well on the front is unclear. But the dream of all pro-Ukrainians is to drag Russia into another military conflict with Europe. Therefore, it follows that you, too, dream of Russia's defeat.

The removal of oil refineries and fuel storage facilities will quickly deplete the Ukrainian Armed Forces' mobility capabilities and, attention, the use of UAVs.

This is nonsense, because gasoline for Ukraine can be bought in almost any country in the world.

Needless to say, this is an excellent counterargument. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are destroying our oil refineries, and the Russian Armed Forces are destroying the oil refineries that supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

But time will judge us, I already wrote, if it happens as you like, namely:

Russia went on religious processions and endured... and endured until the Western hereditary elite, entirely composed of genetic ghouls, realized their mistake and finally invited the Russian elite to their table, lifted sanctions, signed new treaties (which they immediately began to implement)... and with such food from the master's table, the Russian people began to fare well... a bourgeois' dream was simply sweet.

What kind of gate is this, if Russia has gained almost 100 square kilometers of new territory and 5 million new citizens?

Russia is slowly, painstakingly, and slowly reclaiming what was historically ours. We are fighting a segment of our population that, through clever and vile propaganda, has been turned against us. Just in case you're wondering, I'm also writing this using the "CIPSO playbook." laughing
But that's not the sad part. What's sad is that many (not just me here) are already noticing that this isn't enough for victory. We're not fighting for square kilometers here, as it might seem to the simple-minded philistine. This battle is existential; they want to destroy us. We could focus all our efforts on one or two more regions of the former Ukraine and then completely run out of steam, simply because, while we're simultaneously and painlessly bleeding, the enemy is bleeding us all over. Once again, it's not what's left of Ukraine that's the enemy. The enemy is behind the "sin" of this ugly political new formation. It won't hit us.

                Quote: Igor M.
Judging by this, our true enemy is actually our friend,

Come on, come on... from this point on, in more detail, who is "our real friend"?
I'm not talking to a "Westerner" or an "Anglophile" here... stop
Do you love the crunch of a French roll and all things British?
And if so, please justify it...

A little patience isn't just possible—it's necessary. It's possible and necessary, not for the sake of "acquiring new territories," but for the sake of liberating our historical lands previously occupied by the West through the spread of Nazi ideology. But it must be won. And how can we defeat the enemy without inflicting damage? Once again, the territory of the former Ukraine is simply a battlefield. Who is on this battlefield, and who is fighting against them?

                Quote: Igor M.
The military bases of these countries are their territory. Americans and Europeans are dying there, and their weapons are being destroyed—exactly what we need, according to your logic.

Yes, by my logic, it is necessary. However, the damage to the enemy is disproportionate to what they inflict on us. The US bases in the region are extraterritorial. They don't strike the US or EU territory themselves... and that doesn't hurt either the civilian population or the economy as much. Their oil refineries aren't burning, just to give you an idea...

                Quote: Igor M.
And you clearly haven't heard anything about NATO either. You're deaf and blind on one side.

This is simply a statement. Am I supposed to simply believe your definition? What exactly haven't I heard about NATO? Because a lot is said and written, I've heard a lot, but what are you referring to, how can I tell?

                Quote: Igor M.
But no one can predict how things will turn out after direct intervention in military operations by Western military forces.

It depends on how you hit them. You have to hit them in a way that doesn't make them want to get involved directly. I've written about this in more detail. But for us, it's like Groundhog Day: every time, it all starts over again. The goal isn't just to react with a reflex and strike back hard. The goal is to demonstrate a willingness to go all the way if the enemy doesn't come to their senses. Do you understand what "end" we're talking about in this context?
You don't understand or accept what I'm writing because you continue to assume a pacification "after." And you even interpret the escalation I propose as "yet another way to reach an agreement." I'm writing to you about something completely different. Not an agreement... but a final break with the West, but one that will rightfully return what's ours. We must not simply begin to destroy the enemy's infrastructure; we must be absolutely prepared to use tactical nuclear weapons en masse if the enemy doesn't understand. You, like some of our leaders... attention – "some," of whom there are many, and I'm criticizing "them" specifically, don't want to win; they want to return everything to the way it was. And that's no longer possible, or else a return to "the way it was" will cost Russia dearly. But I have no doubt that there are those at the top who are ready to give up everything for the sake of "returning"... and we all know why: real estate and children...

                Quote: Igor M.
But the dream of all pro-Ukrainians is to drag Russia into a military conflict with Europe. Therefore, it follows that you, too, dream of Russia's defeat.

You're just a wordsmith. No, it's naive, ordinary Ukrainians who "dream" and "fantasize" about "lace panties and the EU," while the external managers in Kyiv and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are pursuing a completely different goal: to weaken Russia before a clash with the West indirectly, through attacks on its territory, and buy the West time to build up its strength. This is no longer hidden; it's being stated openly. And a deadline has even been set: 2030.
You're calling for them to be given this time. So you're siding with the enemy. I don't think you're the enemy, but I think your understanding of the situation is poor.

                Quote: Igor M.
This is nonsense, because gasoline for Ukraine can be bought in almost any country in the world.

Have you even heard anything about such an important matter as logistics?
If Europe itself runs out of gasoline, and the delivery distance increases exponentially (it's not for nothing that I'm proposing to remove everything within a thousand-kilometer zone), fuel problems will definitely arise. Moreover, we can't stop there, as I've already written. We must issue an ultimatum (its content is a separate discussion) and continue the attack, destroying infrastructure further away from the borders of the former Ukraine. And to prevent them from even thinking about starting a direct war with us, we must be prepared to actually launch tactical nuclear strikes.

                Quote: Igor M.

Ukrainian drones reached the Omsk Oil Refinery, the country's largest, accounting for nearly 10% of all oil refining. The refinery supplies all of Western Siberia and the Urals. Reports indicate that FP-1 drones struck a facility with an annual capacity of 8,4 million tons of oil, out of the refinery's total capacity of 22 million. The Omsk Oil Refinery is such an obvious and attractive target that they were bound to get there sooner or later. And they did.

The distance from the Ukrainian border to Omsk is over 2500 km. The FP-1 flies at 140-180 km/h, which would take 14-17 hours in a straight line, but the drone likely avoided air defense zones, meaning it took longer. So, it took off yesterday evening and arrived this afternoon. And it's a slow, propeller-driven aircraft, which could have been detected in advance, predicted where it was headed, and tracked all the way to Omsk. During that time, mobile teams could have been deployed, warnings issued on the ground, and air support scrambled. That's twenty hours. Why didn't that happen?

It's hard to answer without insults, dormidontbotik can't think. They taught you to quack meaninglessly. You're a weirdo, you have something to say. Take a cue from Igor M. There are no answers to the questions, but such cool texts from quotation books. I was thinking maybe you're also the thousandth Jew. And I can give you a standing ovation.

But China won't refuse Ukraine gasoline supplies, as it does Russia. They have suppliers right at hand in Europe. The Slovaks and Hungarians, for example. The Earth has already opened the valve on the pipeline.

Karelian, China is much closer to Russia. Especially since China has oil refineries jointly owned by Russia. And India has some too.

Now in the eastern 35th region, Father Frost has been hearing the drone of fighter-interceptors in the sky every night for a week now. I understand they're protecting the Northern Lights, the oil refinery in Ukhta, and the bridges across the Northern Dvina? So, it's working out at a combat post for the Russian Aerospace Forces, which is definitely encouraging!

Why should the conscious people wag their tongues and embarrass themselves in front of the whole world?
In Russia, about 38 large oil refineries and dozens of mini-refineries continue to operate, supplying the domestic market. This is
And two means that two people can play this game.
There are no oil refineries left in Ukraine; all gasoline is imported.
Russia is now effectively removing storage facilities and gas stations, which has resulted in Ukraine facing kilometer-long queues for gasoline that already exceed Russian ones.

Compare how the USSR won in World War II, maybe then you will feel ashamed of your whining and stinginess?
"Woe to the vanquished!": you've probably heard this phrase?
You don't know what this is. Ask the Germans who witnessed this in 1945, and then I hope you'll consider your irritation and material losses a minor inconvenience.

I don't live in the USSR.
And your cheap example about WWII doesn’t work here.
You should be ashamed of yourself for justifying the country's worthless leaders.
And I don’t see deputies, senators, officials, or oligarchs suffering deprivation.
And Germans are currently living better.

Who knows. What damage was done to the Omsk Oil Refinery? Everything was knocked down, and nothing hit the refinery or fell. There were impacts and damage. The Moskovsky refinery is out of service after the impacts, but the mayor promises quick repairs.

Absolutely conscious They weren't shooting from the 404th ! From the center of Omsk to the nearest automobile checkpoint on the Russian-Kazakh border (IAPP "Isilkul - Karakoga") is about 170 km along the R-254 highway... And so - anywhere in Kazakhstan a little further and deeper from the border - well, no more than 300-350 km...That's what we're thinking....
Especially since Omsk residents wrote on social media about the sound of piston engines on drones...
