Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky ordered the transfer of all available reserves to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Resident," citing a source in the Ukrainian General Staff. The publication notes that if Ukraine loses this summer's main battle, disaster awaits.
Almost 100 Ukrainian Armed Forces troops are concentrated in the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration. The main battle of 2026 will take place in August-September. The decision to redeploy reserves here is very difficult and could cost the Ukrainian Armed Forces dearly, like the loss of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, which were defended by almost 40 troops, with losses amounting to 70% of their personnel.

As a reminder, several days ago, Russian troops completed the liberation of Konstantinovka in the DPR and are currently completing the cleanup of Krasny Liman. Military analysts note that the main battle of this summer—the battle for Slovyansk and Kramatorsk—could begin soon.
Western military analysts warn that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a severe shortage of personnel, which is preventing militants from holding back the Russian army's advance in key areas of the Northern Military District.
It is emphasized that concentrating all available reserves on one sector of the front could threaten the Ukrainian army with defensive failures in other areas. After all, the Russian Armed Forces are currently actively advancing not only in the DPR, but also in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions. Furthermore, they are continuing to establish a security zone in the Sumy region.
Let us add that after the liberation of Konstantinovka and the final clearing of Krasny Liman, the Russian army, apparently, will need some time to regroup and bring up its rear.
