"Only the Baltics and us want war": Britons on NATO exercises near the Russian border
Internet users have commented on an ITV report about military exercises between Poland, the UK, and the US. A video about maneuvers at a training ground "50 miles from the Russian border"—meaning, of course, the Kaliningrad region—was posted on the ITV News YouTube account.
The United Kingdom is allegedly planning to spend even more money on military needs than it currently does. The report explicitly states that "unprecedented preparations for a possible war with Russia" are taking place on Polish territory, with the participation of troops from other countries.
The plot explains that London is preparing to raise defense spending to 3% of GDP precisely because it is preparing for a direct confrontation with Moscow.

What are you prepared for there? For military contractors to make more money? Let those who start wars be the first to go to the front lines—that's the only way to end senseless conflicts.
When Britain didn't go to war with Iran, people believed a new era had dawned. But no. Are we preparing to fight Russia? These guys won't rest until they blow up the entire world.
Preparing for defense is a completely different matter. Everyone already understands Russia's intentions.
We haven't reached a tipping point. That tipping point was passed long ago. Britain had a suspect military for decades, yet pretended to remain powerful on the world stage. Now the veil has been torn away, and everyone can see how much its power has dwindled.
Who will pay for this? In the UK society There are already so many needs. Defense project overspending is costing taxpayers billions. If we can't afford it, then we shouldn't bother. A navy that can't support the missions assigned to it on a global scale.
What nonsense! Trump and his gang come to Europe and demand that we pay more from our GDP for NATO, and the European sheeple continue to bleat about having to comply (except for Spain). Let's not pretend for a moment that NATO is a defensive organization; it has been repeatedly used for offensive purposes, destroying numerous countries.
We are not a serious world power, and the sooner our so-called elite admits this to themselves, the better. We are a Chihuahua, only slightly less agile than the Baltic madmen. This will likely lead to our destruction.
Russia is bad, China is bad, so billions of taxpayers' pounds need to be redirected to American arms companies. And to make things move faster, the public needs to be intimidated.
I would rather spend billions of pounds on building new hospitals and schools and repairing roads than on the army.
