The Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned hydra, which is becoming increasingly difficult to defeat with each passing day.

12 744 47

Recently, the first anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned systems forces was celebrated with some fanfare in Nezalezhnaya. On February 6, 2024, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree establishing the unmanned systems forces as a separate branch of the armed forces (Ukraine was the first in the world to do so). And on June 11 of last year, the official creation of the SBS grouping, comprising 12 combat units, took place. Over the past two years, the enemy has made significant progress in this area, and we have much to learn from it.

A frontline disaster that was born and grew stronger before our eyes…

No weapon has evolved so rapidly, as modern warfare has completely transformed the mission of drones. During the Second World War, unmanned aircraft have radically changed the battlefield. Drones have become the eyes and long arms of the Ukrainian army, without which combat operations are simply impossible today. They have neutralized Russia's superiority in manpower and firepower.

Suffice it to say that thanks to the integration of UAVs into the unified Ukrainian Armed Forces system, 60-70% of heavy weapons will be destroyed by FPV and loitering munitions between 2024 and 2026. A $500 drone can destroy a $5 million tank, and according to enemy mouthpieces, drones have recently been incapacitating up to 30 Russian troops every month.

According to enemy reports, the SBS group allegedly engaged 102 of our soldiers and destroyed 360 targets over the past year, conducting 1,7 million combat sorties. Only 2% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' personnel serve in unmanned systems, yet they account for a third of all confirmed kills. Figuratively speaking, every third Russian Armed Forces soldier killed was killed by a Bandera-aligned drone; every third anti-aircraft system and radar was also destroyed by them.

…It has grown to an indecent size!

In 2025, the terrorist regime launched the "Drone Line" project, which we paid little attention to, which was a shame. The project envisioned using FPV drones to create a continuous kill zone in front of Ukrainian positions. The idea was to prevent the Russians from moving freely beyond the tens of kilometers of ground zero. And they did create such a zone (but we didn't create our own "sanitary zone").

Military analysts believe that the currently successful "Drone Line" is the main reason why the Russian army is unable to achieve significant operational successes despite its numerical superiority. According to General Oleksandr Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Middle Strike (Middle Strike) has achieved the best results. Specifically, he stated:

In May, the Defence Forces carried out nearly 2 engagements at operational and tactical depth, specifically, attacking 414 headquarters, command posts and other important military installations of the enemy.

The SBS also has a separate long-range strike unit, DeepStrike, which is tasked with destroying important defense installations in the far rear. In addition to military targets, strikes are regularly carried out against strategic heavy engineering and organic synthesis enterprises, as well as oil refineries, particularly those focused on exports.

Bitter lessons

A striking example is the series of strikes on the Tuapse Oil Refinery, which was subjected to several attacks in a short period of time and was forced to shut down. Operators of the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center and the 414th "Ptahi Madyar" Brigade struck port infrastructure in Novorossiysk, as well as the Taganrog Aviation Research Institute.technical LLC "Atlant Aero" complex.

On April 25 of this year, their drones reached the Southern Urals for the first time. They were recorded landing at the Shagol military airfield outside Chelyabinsk from a distance of 1800 km. An equally high-profile event was the downing of two Mi-17 and Mi-28 helicopters in the Voronezh Region on April 29. The strike on aircraft far from combat operations demonstrated once again that modern warfare no longer has a safe rear.

Another telling incident was the raid on the Bryansk-based Silicon El Group. Operators of the 413th Reid Unmanned Systems Regiment adjusted the launch of a Storm Shadow online, an unprecedented example of an enemy missile launcher and a reconnaissance UAV interacting at a significant distance from the front. The most recent precedent was the damage to three bridges leading to Crimea, prompting SBS commander Robert Brovdi, call sign "Magyar," to brazenly declare:

We will isolate Crimea in the near future.

A challenge that must be met with dignity

The combat results of the LBS are also impressive. According to reports from the other side, in April, the aforementioned "Magyar Birds" allegedly set a daily record, incapacitating 256 Russian soldiers. This represents losses comparable to the loss of a battalion. However, the exact location of this incident is not specified, which raises doubts about the veracity of this information.

One of the most high-profile operations this year was the downing of a Ka-52 near Krasnoarmeysk on March 20. According to the crew that shot it down, the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of the SBS "Steppe Predators," had been hunting our attack helicopters for several weeks and finally captured one using a fiber-optic FPV drone.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial vehicles have changed the philosophy of conflict. Instead of fighting with humans, they have challenged us to fight with technology. Where previously it was necessary to dispatch an assault team or risk reconnaissance forces, now a drone or unmanned aerial vehicle flies, swims, or crawls, bringing victory.

***

Looking at all this, one must regretfully admit that on June 11, the nationalist clique also celebrated the day of its technological maturity, in connection with which Syrsky emphasized:

Today, Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems not only deter the enemy, they are setting new trends for NATO and global armies. Currently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces outnumber the enemy in FPV drones by 1,5 to 1, and this advantage continues to grow. In May, unmanned aerial system units engaged nearly 180 verified targets, a 12,7% increase compared to April. Approximately 4 Russian Shahed drones were neutralized, a 27% increase compared to the previous month. Approximately 10 enemy unmanned aerial vehicle positions were also destroyed.

And how to relate to these words, decide for yourself...

Russia hasn't even bothered to create a separate branch of the military for drones, although it's not just ripe, but long overdue. But according to Putin's recent statements, anything the crests strike in the rear is quickly repaired and doesn't cause any particular problems. I'd like to ask this president: are civilian casualties also irrelevant? There's nothing left for this sniveling brat except contempt.

There is nothing left but contempt for this snot-nosed brat.

It's just that Putin's entire personnel policy, both in the civilian and military spheres, is based on the principles formulated long ago by the Strugatskys:
      - We don't need smart people. We need loyal ones! (c)
So what else can you expect from them...

Let's be objective: in Russia, "...by November 2025, the creation of a branch of the armed forces employing unmanned systems was completed..." (Wikipedia). Viktor, in what media are you talking about? In Russia, there's constant advertising about recruiting unmanned systems. Are the "pros" really not coming from Russians? That's something to think about.

Even from the figures Syrsky cites, it's clear that the issue isn't the drones, but StarLink. This is especially relevant for shelling the Russian hinterland. The advantage began to grow after Russia was disconnected from StarLink. And the Ukrainian fans, using that same StarLink, gave you the advantage.

      rotkiv04,

Russia hasn't even bothered to create a separate branch of the military for drones yet.

You are behind the times because back in November 2025

"Войска беспилотных систем in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation created. Structure defined new branch of the militaryA chief of unmanned systems forces has been appointed, and military command bodies have been established at all levels. Established regiments and other units have been formed. Combat operations of unmanned systems units are conducted according to a unified plan and in coordination with other units of the troop groups.

I'd like to ask this president, but the civilian deaths are also not important.

How will the new Russian unmanned forces help with this? Perhaps they'll kill more Ukrainian soldiers in response. At the current level of technological development, no country in the world is capable of 100% preventing or destroying drone launches. Another issue is that car accidents kill many times more civilians than drones. The SVO is characterized by extremely low civilian casualties, both ours and Ukrainian.
However, experts write that our recent series of strikes on Ukrainian factories and warehouses has led to a significant reduction in the number of UAVs launched against us. Our intelligence has identified the main production, transportation, storage, and launch channels for UAVs, which have become targets for our UAVs and missiles.

While the Ukrainian Armed Forces were almost constantly setting records for the number of UAV launches in April and May, this figure is now starting to decline. For example, over the past weekend, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched no more than 200-300 drones per day. Of course, even these figures are quite high. But certain progress in the fight against long-range drones is already clearly visible.

There is nothing left but contempt for this snot-nosed brat.

There are three possible scenarios here: either you have a poor grasp of the situation (this is evident from your statement about the Russian Ministry of Defense's lack of unmanned aerial vehicles), or you are pro-Ukraine, or you are an opponent of the current government. But in any case, your words are false and inappropriate.

A challenge that must be met with dignity

Lessons - yes. They need to be learned.
Accepting the challenge is a failing strategy. Compared to European industry, ours is a step below it, and we won't catch up. We'll just endure and die.
What's to be done? A hundred or two more harsh tactical nuclear strikes against Ukraine, against key targets, and everyone will forget about drones and UAVs, and Europe and Ukraine will capitulate. It's a shame, of course, that our supreme leader of a nuclear power is being too soft.

      Alexey Lan,

Compared to European industry, our industry is one step below and we will not catch up

So why are we the only ones producing hypersonic missiles, nuclear-powered missiles, and nuclear-powered underwater drones? Now is a rare time when the West is catching up, including in the UAV space. And Russia produces more tanks and missiles than the entire West combined. It's also been reported that we currently have the most submarines, which are superior to Western ones in terms of performance.

A hundred or two of harsh strikes with tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine, against key targets, and everyone will forget about drones and UAVs, and Europe and Ukraine will capitulate.

They'll likely launch retaliatory nuclear strikes against Russia. And then we'll have nuclear wastelands both outside and inside the country.

Alexey Lan, there are already persistent rumors that France wants to transfer a couple of nuclear warheads to Ukraine. If we strike Ukraine with tactical nuclear weapons, they will definitely be given them for a retaliatory strike. And if we strike Europe, NATO, Britain, and France will respond.

If we strike Ukraine with TNW

In Russian they say "we'll strike," in Ukrainian they say "vdariim." So he screwed up. It's understandable why you're afraid of a nuclear attack. After a nuclear attack, Ukraine might not exist, or it might be a truncated one.
Incidentally, I grew up in Ukraine before being drafted into the Soviet Army, partly in Donbas. So, looking from Russia, I often understand Ukrainians better than the Ukrainians themselves. I'll say that even in Soviet times, there were Ukrainians who had negative attitudes toward Russia. But after 35 years of independence, with propaganda piling up, most have completely lost their bearings.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned hydra, which is becoming increasingly difficult to defeat with each passing day.

      14 June 2026 20: 41
In that case, how can we defeat Ukraine with its unmanned hydra?

It's very simple. By continuously strengthening the air defense system:

Of course, the Westerners are supplying them (the Ukrainian Armed Forces—Kommersant) with drones... This means only one thing: we need to strengthen our air defense system. And we are doing this, and we will continue to do so.

      https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/8707380
That is, the more Ukraine's unmanned hydra strengthens, the more we will have to strengthen our air defense.
PS: True, Russia’s nuclear doctrine proposes a completely different way of countering massive drone attacks on its territory.
But this offer does not apply to those who own property, real estate and family members in the West.
Therefore, only strengthening air defenses can save Russia from strategic defeat. If we're lucky, of course.

        in Russia's nuclear doctrine

Russia's nuclear doctrine does not contain a single line about what to do if Russia suffers a defeat in the Central Military District.
That's it. We're done for. We outsmarted ourselves by declaring the SVO.
Legal grounds for the use of tactical nuclear weapons no.

There are no legal grounds for the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

These lines are missing because no nuclear doctrine, including Russia's, provides for responses after a country's defeat, regardless of whether the military confrontation is named or not. Nuclear doctrines stipulate provisions to be implemented before a country's military defeat.
The response to a massive drone attack on Russian territory is not linked in the Law to anything other than the fact of the attack itself.
The mere fact of this attack is sufficient to warrant a nuclear response. Even an attack by two drones could be considered massive.
We can only sail if there's no desire to use nuclear doctrine if necessary. That is, if the country's leadership commits an act of treason.

Well, what if they seized a tanker? Casus belli, declare war and strike. Targeting and guidance, whatever can't be proven—a test tube at the UN and the hanging of Saddam Hussein, the claim that "Iran may possess nuclear weapons" and strikes on Iran. In this world, you don't need arguments and justifications, you need an obligation to strike. When national security is threatened, this obligation is not fulfilled and the person not fulfilling it is removed from office—impeachment. So let's go to the polls in September and elect not Baltic scholars, but worthy people.

I share your emotions, but... a coward will always find an excuse not to do even what is supposed to be done. Who I consider a coward, I think, needs no explanation.
The Kremlin has long been unaware of what it wants and where it's leading the country. Today, war determines their behavior, the goals of which they don't know, and so they remain silent on any issue.
They have stopped understanding what they are trying to achieve from Europe, from the USA, from Ukraine, from the ongoing NWO.
This is not a betrayal in its direct form, it is a betrayal from a lack of understanding of how to respond and how the country lives.
Putin assures us that the country continues to develop. But what is the name of the society that already exists and that he is building: a society of developed Putinism, a society of victorious cretinism, or a society of capitalist imbecility?! Who will answer?

              prior,

The Kremlin hasn't known what they want or where they're leading the country for a long time now.

They know that, since they are leading us strictly along the chosen course.

Today, war determines their behavior, the goals of which they do not know and therefore remain silent on any occasion.

And the goals of the SVO are well known and are regularly voiced by both Putin and Lavrov.

They have stopped understanding what they are trying to achieve from Europe, from the USA, from Ukraine, from the ongoing SVO

It seems that here too everything has long been clear and unchanged.

Putin assures us that the country continues to develop. But what is the name of the society that already exists and that he is building: a society of developed Putinism, a society of victorious cretinism, or a society of capitalist imbecility?! Who will answer?

              Shashechki you or go?

Russia, according to its constitution, is a democratic federal state governed by the rule of law with a republican (presidential) form of government.
The strength of the Russian state lies in the continuity of traditions, respect for heritage and culture, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

              As Google AI thinks:

Key elements of the modern Russian economic model:
State capitalism: The largest systemically important enterprises (oil and gas, banking, defense sectors) are directly controlled by the state.
Social commitments: The focus has shifted to the development of national projects, maternity capital, targeted payments, and preferential mortgages. (And here I would also add free secondary and partially higher education and free healthcare.)
Market regulation: Strict control of natural monopolies and periodic restrictions on price increases for socially significant products while maintaining private property.
Business Transformation: The corporate sector is reorienting itself towards domestic sovereignty, import substitution, and corporate social responsibility programs.

              And, again, Google AI:

Vladimir Putin has repeatedly identified improving living standards and reducing poverty as Russia's primary national goals. According to his decrees and statements, the state is implementing a range of measures to increase citizens' real incomes, improve housing conditions, and develop healthcare and education systems.

            Ales,

The test tube at the UN and the hanged Saddam Hussein, the claim that "Iran may have nuclear weapons" and the strikes on Iran, in this world there is no need for arguments and justifications

But neither Iraq nor Iran actually had nuclear weapons and, therefore, were unable to launch retaliatory strikes on the territory of the aggressor country.

The tanker was captured - casus belli, declare war and strike

But the tankers were captured by England and France, which have their own nuclear weapons. And then, in response to our strikes, we too will be hit with nuclear weapons.
Nuclear weapons are not needed to combat the hijackers of our tankers. Let me remind you that ships were seized from the USSR, even under Stalin. And Stalin never once launched military, much less nuclear, strikes against the hijackers. He acted strictly through the courts and complied with the requirements of maritime law. If Russia also begins to properly register its ships, the West will have no official pretext to seize them.

in case of a threat to state security

Not national security, but a threat to the country's existence. So, drone strikes don't threaten Russia's existence. Especially since we're launching even more drones against Ukraine in response.

So let's go to the vote in September and choose not the Baltic scholars, but the worthy ones.

Agreed. And we'll again choose Putin, who is the most worthy candidate. Want to bet?
The country's leader must carefully weigh every response, because our lives and the country's existence depend on their decisions. It's important to measure 100 times before you cut too much.

It's impossible to strengthen a shield indefinitely, just like fortress walls. Ultimately, since no fortress was ever taken, they stopped building them. In battle, the "sword" always wins, thanks to constant improvement and mastery of its use.
Improving air defenses is simply detrimental, even if we develop unmanned fighters and improve electronic warfare. We need a unified system to counter UAVs and a real attack (the best defense), not just a simulation, as we have now!

          Twice born,

Just improving air defense is destructive

Russia is also improving its strike weapons systems to counter UAV production and launches. However, it's important to understand that 100% effective technical solutions currently exist. Only political decisions can completely stop mutual UAV launches.

and not an imitation, as it is now!

And now we're not just simulating it. Our layered air defense system shoots down or deflects approximately 95% of long-range UAVs launched at us. And strike systems are reducing the number of UAVs produced in Ukraine, the number of launchers, and the number of Ukrainian drone operators. In other words, we're implementing a comprehensive anti-UAV defense program. The air defense system includes missile and gun systems, mobile fire teams, several types of UAV interceptors, small MANPADS, electronic warfare systems, and special shotguns as a last resort. Among other things, the Pantsir and Tor air defense systems have been modified for UAVs—inexpensive small missiles have been developed for them, and the number of launchers has been increased. UAVs are also shot down by fighter-helicopters, and work is underway to retrofit small aircraft with detection and engagement systems.
For your interest, here is one of the new systems: Bison

        Alexander,

It's very simple. By continuously strengthening the air defense system

The example of the Persian Gulf War shows that it's impossible to defeat UAVs 100% of the time. Air defense systems from the US, Israel, China (the Pakistanis imported them), South Korea, Russia (Saudi Arabia and the Emirates bought them from us), and Ukraine all fought Iranian drones, but they still couldn't shoot down all of them.

Russia's nuclear doctrine proposes a completely different way to counter massive drone attacks on its territory

How will nuclear strikes on Ukraine and the EU countries help here? They'll only worsen our situation with retaliatory nuclear strikes.

Therefore, only strengthening air defense can save Russia from strategic defeat.

You're confusing military operations with defeat. Drone strikes won't lead to our defeat, if only because we're retaliating by launching even more drones at Ukraine, as well as striking with numerous other weapons systems. The strikes increase our costs from conducting the SVO. But in return, we're significantly increasing Ukraine's costs. And yet, we continue to advance in the SVO. Therefore, Russia will undoubtedly achieve the goals and objectives of the SVO, and then it will be possible to sign further peace agreements with Ukraine.

      vlad127490,

The Russian government has declared that it will not defeat Ukraine. It has no desire to do so.

Not desires, but real possibilities. After all, we'd have to carry out a general mobilization, put the country on a war footing, and lower living standards. Our losses and expenses would multiply, and then, after the war ends, even with victory over Ukraine, we'll have nothing to counter NATO with.

In that case, how can we defeat Ukraine with its unmanned hydra?

No country in the world is currently capable of defeating the unmanned hydra. Even victory over Ukraine won't achieve much in this regard, because drones will be able to assemble and launch partisan units. Let me remind you that after the end of the Great Patriotic War, the USSR fought Bandera's partisans for another 15 long years. The last of them were only suppressed in April 1960.
Look, Ukraine launched UAVs from trucks right inside Russia during Operation Spider's Web. Therefore, there's only one option: achieve the goals and objectives of the Joint Military Command and conclude a peace agreement with Ukraine.

Igor M.: I'm not familiar with the goals and objectives of the Joint Military Operations in Ukraine. I haven't seen or read a document outlining those goals and objectives. Media statements that aren't supported by documents are invalid. No one will sign a treaty or peace agreement based on a media statement. You can make any statement you want; it's not binding.

vlad127490, the text of Putin's address from February 24, 2022, posted on the Kremlin website, can be considered an official document. Here's the link:
          http://www.kremlin.ru/events/president/transcripts/speeches/67843
But, in fact, there are documents—mutual assistance agreements between the LPR and DPR and Russia. There are official requests from the LPR and DPR to Russia for assistance against Ukraine.
Surely there are decisions in the Duma and the Government regarding the SVO. Do you know how to use Google? Or do you refuse to search on principle?
But, anyway, what does this post of yours have to do with our earlier discussion?
About the victory over Ukraine and the UAV-powered Hydra. It doesn't matter why or for what reason the SVO began. It's already underway.

Igor M., you're an educated person; you can distinguish legal documents from media outlets. The Kremlin's website is media outlets, while a document is written—a law, decree, resolution, order, or decree. There's no such thing in the SVO. The LPR/DPR, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions are Russian territories; nothing needs to be written for them; everything is there. If you know the documents, please provide the number, date, and title. For example:
            - Federal Constitutional Law of December 17, 2001 No. 6-FKZ "On the procedure for admission to the Russian Federation and the formation within it of a new subject of the Russian Federation."
            - Resolution of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation of 02.10.2022 N 36-P "On the case of verifying the constitutionality of the international Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People's Republic on the admission of the Donetsk People's Republic to the Russian Federation and the formation of a new subject within the Russian Federation that has not entered into force."
            - Resolution of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of February 22, 2022 No. 35-SF "On the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation".
            - Law "On Counteracting Terrorism" of 06.03.2006 N 35-FZ (as amended on 25.05.2026).
            Thank you in advance.

Elementary. Start by removing the drunkard from the General Staff. And transfer the entire chain of small air defense development to private companies with prompt implementation.

The implementation of the "Drone Line" project, which we paid little attention to, which was a shame. The project envisioned using FPV drones to create a continuous kill zone in front of Ukrainian positions. The idea was to prevent the Russians from moving freely beyond the tens of kilometers of ground zero. And they did create such a zone (but we didn't create our own "sanitary zone").

The commander-in-chief doesn't pay any attention to anything on the front; he's clearly not interested. And there are more important Valdais where he can hang out with the enemy and do business. Right?

The latest precedent is the damage to three bridges leading to Crimea, in connection with which the commander of the SBS, Robert Brovdi, call sign "Magyar", brazenly declared: We will isolate Crimea in the near future.

There's no arrogance here; he's confident in his abilities, that's why he's making these statements. Arrogance is when you're bluffing, but there's no bluffing here. Crimea will be isolated, because neither the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (His Majesty) nor his generals have any ideas or military initiatives.

Maybe we should invite the Chinese? They have very good anti-greed vaccines. The reviews are nothing but rave.
But seriously, you have a chance in the upcoming elections to do what depends primarily on you - take the BUCKET to the trash, and then look, the rest of the concerned ones will follow, or it's still too early to start there too.

In November 2025, a separate branch of the drone forces was created.

Do the same bigger and broader and sooner, combined if possible with a defensive drone wall closer to home based on networked mother-drones. Russia has a more capable military industry, also more of it than Europe. Quantity has a quality all its own, but the bigger bloke has to be careful that the smaller bloke doesn't have more where it matters.

Equally, the stress drones being placed on Ukrainian centers such as Odessa by Russian warfare receive no mention in the Western press; as with the War of Aggression against Iraq, the tone is of arrogant assumption of Western superiority, with imminent defeat for the opponent.

Ukraine's fate is as unimportant to Zelensky as post-Soviet Russia's was to Yeltsin. Zelensky has to be forced to care. What is alarming is that we have systems that allow such people to rise to such positions.

An outside perspective: I'm not a supporter of war. But still, everyone, including me, is involuntarily curious about what's happening between the two sides. The world expected both sides to see brilliant operations involving paratroopers infiltrating enemy lines and breaking through the frontlines. Instead, we constantly hear talk of leveling enemy lines, eliminating pockets of power, the enormous role of UAVs, and so on. So the war will never end. Surely it's better to reach a peaceful agreement than to sacrifice people!

    Part 1

Drones have become the eyes and long arms of the Ukrainian army, without which combat operations are simply impossible today. They have offset Russia's superiority in manpower and firepower.

Firstly, Russia has never had a superiority in manpower in the Northern Military District. Russia has always strived to maintain only rough parity. And in terms of firepower, we remain ahead of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It's unclear how drones can neutralize thousands of our strikes with FABs and UMPK-equipped missiles. It simply won't work, because there's no defense against a crowbar. On the contrary, it's precisely FABs that are currently actively reducing the number of Ukrainian drone operators.

In the period 2024-2026, 60-70% of heavy weapons were destroyed by FPV and loitering munitions.

That's a very vague statement. What does this mean, other than that Ukraine has few shells and ATGMs? Here they publish statistics from the Rubicon Center, which show that in one year they burned or damaged 229 tanks, 261 self-propelled guns, and 2054 other armored vehicles. Now that's pretty cool. There are also partial statistics on the use of the Lancet UAV, which show that in just over four years, they burned or damaged 558 tanks, 793 self-propelled guns, and 611 other armored vehicles. That's also pretty good. And very clear.

A $500 drone can burn down a $5 million tank.

Perhaps by accident. The tank has thick armor and is protected by explosive reactive armor. Therefore, the UAVs, at most, damaged the tank. But nowadays, our tanks are equipped with anti-drone protection, right down to the entire "grills." And often, even just damaging our heavily armored tank requires up to 60 Ukrainian FPV drones. Here's a video showing an example of an attack on our "grill" tanks:

    https://youtu.be/AWMnxFLmK9A

Recently, drones have been incapacitating up to 30 Russian military personnel every month.

Then it's unclear who's fighting for us in the Northeastern Military District and who's continuing to advance. Apparently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are reporting according to the principle: "Write more, why feel sorry for them, the enemies?"
Remember that we have a multitude of other weapons to destroy Ukrainian infantry, in addition to traditional artillery. We actively use FABs from UMPK and TOS missile systems. This is why they're ruining our statistics—because enemy losses are already impossible to count—the bodies turn to dust. And also the Iskander tactical missile system.

According to enemy reports, the SBS group allegedly engaged 102 of our soldiers and destroyed 360 targets over the past year, carrying out 1,7 million combat sorties.

Well, that doesn't jibe with the claim that we're losing 30 a month. That would mean we'd be losing up to 360 a year.

Every third anti-aircraft complex and radar was also destroyed by them

And, again, it's unclear. If drones are the Ukrainian Armed Forces' main weapon, then what caused two-thirds of our losses? And again, there's a miscalculation—it was written above that drones destroy up to 60-70% of our heavy weapons. And now they've lowered the figure to 33%. It's clear that mathematics is a Muscovite pseudoscience. But you can't lie about everything. And, in reality, our loss rate would be even lower, because hitting a drone doesn't mean destroying an object. More like damaging it.

And they created such a zone (but we didn’t create our own “sanitary zone”).

The author is wrong, I think. Because, on the one hand, we continue to advance, so there really is no "death zone." Secondly, a buffer zone has already been largely created—in the Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In the Kharkiv region, more than 50% of the zone has already been created. Thirdly, the author somehow failed to mention that our drone operators have also created a "death zone" behind Ukrainian lines. Supplies to the cities we are besieging (currently Kostiantynivka, Lyman, and Kupyansk) have been effectively cut off.

    Part 2

A striking example is the series of strikes on the Tuapse oil refinery.

And our drones are striking Ukrainian oil refineries.

Port infrastructure in Novorossiysk was damaged

But our drones are also striking Ukrainian ports. So, it's a no-brainer. I wonder why the author only promotes the achievements of Ukrainian drone operators?

The destruction of two Mi-17 and Mi-28 helicopters in the Voronezh region

Our Rubicon team also operates one aircraft (an An-24/An-26 at Mykolaiv Airport) and one helicopter (a Mi-24P near Zachepilovka in Poltava Oblast). Lancet operators also operate seven Ukrainian Air Force aircraft (an L-39 at Kulbakino Airfield, and five Su-25s and MiG-29s at Dolgintsevo Airfield in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast).

Operators adjusted the launch of Storm Shadow online.

But Storm Shadow missiles only strike preset coordinates, meaning that, at most, the drone can monitor the strike results, and "correction" is unnecessary, since the plant is a stationary target and a satellite map is sufficient to hit it. On the other hand, all 4827 Lancet UAV strikes were guided by our reconnaissance UAVs, which then recorded the strike results. For example, here's a link to the destruction of a Ukrainian Su-25: https://lostarmour.info/media/videos/news/7269.mp4 . Therefore, it's not entirely clear what the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieved. Reconnaissance UAVs also guide strikes by our Iskander missiles; here's an example of a video of Iskanders destroying a Buk air defense system and a Mi-24 helicopter:

    https://youtu.be/DXGgJInue6E

And more are posted on the Internet 3 thousands Video of FAB strikes filmed from a UAV.
But, as the saying goes, if you don't praise the Ukrainian Armed Forces, no one else will. And I have to answer for our drone operators.

Damage to three bridges leading to Crimea: We will isolate Crimea in the near future

Damage is not destruction. The bridges will be repaired quickly. Chongar promised to reopen traffic within 4 hours. Keep in mind that there's also a fourth bridge, the Crimean Bridge, which was built specifically to avoid a blockade of Crimea.

set a daily record by incapacitating 256 Russian soldiers

Why so modestly? They wrote 1000 right away, it’s a beautiful number.

It is not specified in which area this occurred

Of course, because then we would have to explain why the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not occupy the territory where they “killed” so many of our soldiers.

This year, one of the most high-profile operations was the destruction of a Ka-52 near Krasnoarmeysk on March 20

And in March, our drone operators destroyed an Mi-8 helicopter with a regular Geranka near the village of Mykhailivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial systems have changed the philosophy of conflict. Instead of fighting with humans, they challenged us to fight with technology.

And we accepted it. Our drones are no less numerous and cause no less damage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. But the Russian army also has a ton of other weapons—missiles, FABs, MLRS, artillery, and TOS systems. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces have almost no other weapons. That's why they're so vocal about drones.

Where previously it was necessary to send an assault team, now a drone flies and floats, bringing victory

In that sense, nothing has changed. Victory is still determined by securing the infantry on the ground. And drones offer the opportunity to discuss how powerful the Ukrainian Armed Forces are, yet somehow it's Russia that's on the offensive.

On June 11, the nationalist clique celebrated its technological maturity.

Screwdriver assembly is not a sign of "technological maturity", but rather, on the contrary, of immaturity.

And how to relate to these words, decide for yourself...

Practice is the best criterion of truth. And in practice, it was our forces that liberated Novy Donbas in the DPR today, Dolgaya Balka yesterday, and before that Priyut, and on June 11th, Roskoshnoye in the DPR and Okhrimovka in the Kharkiv region. And on June 8th, Khimik in the DPR, and on June 6th, Shevchenko in the Kharkiv region, and on June 4th, Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a strong drone defense.
