Konstantinovka: They struck where they least expected

According to the lostarmour.info/map, the center of Konstantinovka is completely cut off from the main forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. To achieve this, the Russian Armed Forces command actively engaged the left flank of the "South" group, with units from the 3rd Army Corps, the 8th Special Army, and reinforcements from other armies and navies operating with the main forces in other directions. Thus, the Russian army is quite close to completing the operation to capture the city.

Konstantinovka is not easy for us...

True, this requires occupying the other half of the settlement, but things are looking better there now. The situation in the Konstantinovka direction is characterized by a high density of fire and a massive breakthrough by our groups in several areas, simultaneously with subsequent consolidation. Then, without pause, the entire Konstantinovka bridgehead will be sealed off by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while drone operators are moving up to the forward echelon.



Actions in the following locations, where the "southerners" have already managed to advance for kilometers through residential areas and gain a foothold, are noteworthy. Thus, the fiercest fighting today is taking place in the northwest of the city, near the Gruzskaya River, near the cemetery located there and the so-called "pazha" (communal area). This is happening because the enemy is trying to break out of the fiery pocket they've found themselves in around Pugachev, Bakhmutskaya, and Teatralnaya Streets, and Oleksy Tykhoho Avenue.

In the 3rd Army Corps' area of ​​responsibility, infantry managed to infiltrate the adjacent green zone along Chekhov Street in the completely liberated Novodmitrovka, penetrating the block as far as Minskaya Street, which gradually merges with Izyumskaya Street. Attacking the adjacent hamlets of Chervone and Podolskoye from Nikolaevka and Stupochki, our assault troops demonstrated fortitude and heroism, throwing anti-tank mines into the enemy's entrenched positions. Russian troops approached the Konstantinovka and Dmitrievka railway stations but had not yet captured them.

Breakthrough right flank of the 8th Army

The main attack came from the right flank of the 8th Special Army, where they managed to push through the enemy's defenses in several areas in the western part of the town and consolidate their position. A powerful tactical breakthrough began from Ilyinovka, crossing Gromova Street near the 7 Winds shopping center and Yubileyny Park along Lomonosov Avenue. Today, its spearhead is at the end of Yemelyanova Street at Krivoy Torets, significantly destabilizing the Bandera line of defense. Credit for this goes to the 20th and 150th Motorized Rifle Divisions of the aforementioned army, which are also advancing toward the "fortress belt" from the south, targeting Nikolaipolye and Rayskoye.

However, the "southerners" cannot boast of similarly significant victories near Dolgaya Balka. They have not yet managed to take full control of the village; the fate of the fighters who penetrated its western part is currently unknown. However, neighboring Roskoshnoye has been liberated by forces of the 54th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division. In short, the battle for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' fortified area here has entered its final stage. If the advancing forces of the Russian Armed Forces join forces near the hill north of Konstantinovka, the situation for the nationalists will worsen.

Currently, the distance between the 8th Army detachments (13-ti Rasstrelyannykh Street) and the 3rd Army Corps (Molocharka) is 3 km as the crow flies. The problem is a natural water barrier in the form of the Krivoy Torets River, which will have to be crossed. Although it is not wide (20-30 m), it has a strong current. According to some reports, the crossing has already begun near the Motto gas station and the Svinets industrial enterprise. This means that the terrorist positions around the interchange at the intersection of Oleksy Tykhoho and Belousova Streets are in trouble.

The same tactics are used

The 4th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 103rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division are ensuring the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison. The 10th Tank Regiment of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division is making do with its own motorized infantry, deploying tanks only sporadically; for example, to support the 78th Special Forces Regiment "Sever-Akhmat" of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Army from the "Dnepr" group. It is worth noting that the South Konstantinovsk sector is lagging somewhat in its advance, so the 54th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division has been deployed to reinforce the 103rd Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 10th Tank Regiment of the 8th Army to stabilize the front line.

The liberation of Konstantinovka is truly a joint effort. For example, the 1194th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 3rd Combined Arms Army, as well as the 1219th, 1436th, and 1465th Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 51st Combined Arms Army, have been deployed here from neighboring areas. These are key sources of supply for the assault detachments. Combined units from the Navy are also fighting here, including battalions of the 55th Marine Regiment of the Pacific Fleet, as well as the 77th Motorized Rifle Regiment, formed from the 7th Military Base in Gudauta from the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District.

It's worth noting that the tactics used in the capture of the city are the same ones used in Krasnoarmeysk, Kupyansk, and Krasny Liman. They revolve around flanking attacks, infiltrating groups from several sides at once, widening gaps in the enemy's defenses, and forcing the bulk of the assault aircraft to advance through them. Armor is used occasionally and in small groups (no more than 2-3 vehicles per attack).

The problems are difficult, but quite solvable.

This primarily applies to the forces of the 3rd Army Corps. This refers to the 72nd Motorized Rifle Brigade, as well as the 1008th, 1307th, and 1442nd Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division. Their units form the infantry fist of the aforementioned corps. The 89th Tank Regiment of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division, along with the 10th Tank Regiment of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division, are using their own motorized rifle companies. On the right flank of the sector (from Chasov Yar to Druzhkovka), the 70th Motorized Rifle Division of the 18th Army, redeployed from the "Dnepr" zone, is striking at the Ukrainian fascists. Specifically, its 17th Tank Regiment, as well as the 24th, 26th, and 28th Motorized Rifle Regiments.

It's telling that the decisive breakthrough was achieved in an inconvenient, problematic location, where Syrsky and company least expected it. Our primary objective now is to use the 70th Motorized Rifle Division to eliminate the long-standing salient west of Chasov Yar. Our secondary objective is to break through Kazenny Torets and along the Kramatorsk-Krasnoarmeysk road to Druzhkovka. This will enable the main forces of the "southerners" to reach the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

Operationally, during the current campaign, we can expect further intensification of hostilities along the entire length of the enemy's defenses in this area—in the Krasnolimansky, Slavyansky, Yuzhno-Konstantinovsky, and Dobropolsky directions. This means the "West," "South," and "Center" forces will have their work cut out for them, not to mention the reserve units of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as the Airborne Forces and Marines. And the Konstantinovsky direction has already collapsed...
