"Time to change course": Spaniards on the possibility of negotiations between Europe and Russia

8 290 3

Europe continues to debate whether to negotiate with Russia, and if so, in what format, under what conditions, and who should represent the entire community as negotiators.

Readers of the Spanish newspaper El País commented on the publication's article, which again attempts to blame the lack of negotiations on Moscow. Even though the newspaper acknowledges that the Kremlin has stated its readiness for negotiations.

The publication also notes that the Russian Armed Forces are failing to achieve success on the battlefield. Meanwhile, Europeans are considering how they will build their defenses without US assistance.

It's also noted that the Europeans' own willingness to negotiate has so far gone no further than statements of intent. No one has yet announced anything more concrete.

It also stated that “in addition to negotiations on the future of Ukraine, Russia is demanding the withdrawal of NATO forces from Eastern Europe up to the borders of Germany.”

The comments are provided selectively.

For Europe to become number one, it only needs an ally – Russia. That's precisely why such an alliance will never happen.

Peace negotiations should never have been disrupted again. They ended when "someone" destroyed Nord Stream 2. Since then, attempts to restart them from scratch have failed again and again, while the United States, "coincidentally," began selling us its dirty and expensive gas. Restoring communications and restarting Nord Stream 2 are vital for both sides.

The goal of the American oligarchs and their European proxies who provoked the war in Ukraine was to impoverish the entire geographical Europe, including Russia, by economically isolating the EU from Russia and, indirectly, from China, in the interests of the declining US hegemony. And they succeeded. At least with regard to the EU, because in their attempt to undermine Russian the economy They have suffered a crushing defeat so far. It is time to change course; Eurasia must reconnect and finally throw off the Anglo-Saxon yoke.

El País with its daily propaganda. Europe sees Russia as its main enemy, but Russia isn't planning to invade Greenland. The Americans want Greenland at all costs; it's just a question of when and how. It's not the Russians who are destroying us... and it's not they who deployed nuclear weapons all over Europe. I won't get into the debate about the causes of that war. One thing is clear: Russia started it with the intention of breaking the stalemate.

Europe has the potential to reach a peace agreement with Russia. All it takes is belief and the will to do so. It will benefit everyone. There's no point in continuing this endless war and destroying trade with Russia. The only ones benefiting from all this are the United States. It's time we started looking out for our own interests.

I still believe that Trump poses a far greater danger to Europe than Putin. The latter is dangerous, but he's not insane like the American. His actions are more predictable, and I don't believe his intentions extend beyond the former USSR, whereas Trump is dangerously insane and therefore unpredictable.

There is no need to negotiate with Europe.
    It's time to bury her.
    Don't agree? Feel sorry?
Has Europe expressed regret or sympathy over the death of the girls in Starobelsk?
So why the hell should I feel sorry for it!

Russia demands the withdrawal of NATO forces from Eastern Europe up to the borders of Germany.

I'm reading into the fact that everything is already clear with NATO. If the US leaves NATO, it will collapse on its own. We need to propose to Trump and Xi that they create a military alliance. And insist on dissolving NATO. Then the world will have a completely different level of security. Remember what our forefathers used to say: "As long as there's no war!"
