Russian teacher quit school because of a photo in a swimsuit
A sports victory, or rather, the photos after it turned into a dismissal for a teacher from Barnaul Tatyana Kuvshinnikova. At school, she taught Russian language and literature. In her free time Tatyana goes in for sports.
"Walruses" from the Altai Federation of Tempering and Winter Swimming "Polar Bears" organized a campaign on the Pioneer Lake in support of the Winter Universiade, in which Tatyana took part. After that, she published photos from the action - in a swimsuit, as well as in a light dress - on her page in the social network "Vkontakte". These pictures led to the teacher receiving a complaint to the principal.
At first Tatyana managed to defend, but, in the end, she was forced to quit. A small story about her came out in the program "Man and the Law" on First Channel.
According to Kuvshinnikova, she was accused of her behavior as a “stain” on the school’s reputation. That “prostitutes only” dress and take pictures in this way.
The authors of the TV show reacted to these photos in a different way. They asked the question: who should be in order to perceive in them an erotic subtext? Journalists also condemned the unknown parent for the complaint:
There were parents with a different position, who stood up for the teacher. They stated that there was nothing reprehensible in the pictures, and Kuvshinnikova was a professional teacher. In addition, regional deputies acted in her defense. However, apparently, Tatyana created such conditions that as a result she had to leave her job.
This is not the first scandal of this kind. Earlier, in the summer of 2018, Victoria Popova, a history teacher from the Omsk region, had to resign. The reason was her photos in a swimsuit. After this incident, many colleagues came out in support of her, having organized a flash mob on the Internet under the name "Teachers are also people." They posted their photos in swimsuits to show that the teacher also has the right to privacy.
