Germany: The bombing of Yugoslavia is the right decision

2
The head of the German Foreign Ministry, Heiko Maas, believes that NATO did the right thing when it bombed Yugoslavia in 1999. He openly stated this in an interview with the German newspaper Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

From what the minister said, it can be concluded that he also justifies the bombing of the German city of Dresden in February 1945. Then, as a result of the joint operation of the American and British Air Force, 25 to 250 thousand civilians of this city died (they are still trying to count them). After the raid, the surviving Germans dragged the bodies to huge heaps and set them on fire to prevent a possible epidemic. There was simply no time for the funeral of such a huge number of people, and there were few survivors, and the city was a ruin and ashes. And the minister, of course, studied this at school.

So, according to this "peace-loving" minister, the participation of the Germans in the military operation against Yugoslavia was justified by a "responsible approach." However, Maas believes that military intervention is an openly radical method for resolving various conflicts.

Maas noted that in the late 90s, human rights were massively violated in Yugoslavia and killings took place. And he doesn’t even want to assume what would happen in Yugoslavia now. The words of the minister can be considered the "peak" of German diplomacy.

I don’t want to assume what would happen there if we hadn’t intervened then

- summed up Mass.

It should be noted that in 2018, former US Secretary of Defense William Perry said that he sincerely regrets that NATO bombed Yugoslavia. Most of all, the American was worried about the bombing of the Chinese embassy. He believes that this happened unintentionally.

We remind you that 20 years ago, from March 24 to June 9, 1999, the "peace-loving" NATO bloc carried out the bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY). In turn, the FRY consisted of Serbia and Montenegro. This “democratic” action, “Union Force,” was called, and the pretext was the ethnic conflict in Kosovo.

they cannot but approve - otherwise they will have to answer for the disgrace, but in general we do not give a damn about the Serbs - let them bomb, whoever wants and how much they want - to spit!
