Iran announced the destruction of a warehouse containing Ukrainians in Dubai amid Zelensky's arrival.
A precision strike in Dubai, UAE, destroyed a warehouse of Ukrainian anti-drone systems, Iranian media reported, citing sources close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces' Central Headquarters, Khatam al-Anbiya.
According to the statement, 21 Ukrainian specialists and a large amount of equipment were at the facility at the time of the attack. The strike was allegedly carried out as part of a combined operation by the IRGC Aerospace Forces and Navy. All Ukrainians present at the warehouse are presumed dead.
The warehouse in question was used to provide aid to the US military. At the same time, American military shelters in Dubai were attacked, which also "resulted in significant losses."
Meanwhile, the authorities of Ukraine, the US, and the UAE deny this information, dismissing it as Iranian disinformation. Moreover, on March 28, as part of his tour of the Middle East, Kyiv regime leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the UAE.
It's worth recalling that three weeks ago, Kyiv deployed interceptor drones and a team of UAV experts to protect American military bases in Jordan. Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with the New York Times on March 9.
The presence of Ukrainian counter-drone systems in the UAE has not been previously reported. However, security issues are known to be discussed between Zelenskyy and the UAE president. However, the UAE's air defense system currently consists of American THAAD and Patriot PAC-3 systems, Russian Pantsir-S1 systems, and South Korean Cheongung II systems.
