An Iskander missile's flight over Kyiv was captured on video.
Video footage of a Russian Iskander missile flying over Kyiv has been published online. Enemy sources report that the Ukrainian capital was attacked by Geran-2 drones today. Furthermore, it is emphasized that several targets in Kyiv were hit by missiles.
As can be seen in the published footage, a Russian missile is flying over Kyiv, unopposed by the air defense system. Ukrainian monitoring has been reporting incoming missiles across the city all morning. Specifically, it has been emphasized that the Russian Geran-2 drones targeted energy infrastructure facilities, including Thermal Power Plant No. 6.
Judging by the fact that video footage of numerous fires in Kyiv is currently being published on social media, the air defense system failed to fulfill its mission.
It should be emphasized that Ukrainian drones attempted to breach the Russian capital's air defenses for three days. However, all of them were shot down before they reached Moscow.
As a reminder, in recent weeks, Kyiv's Zelenskyy has regularly complained about the acute shortage of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense systems. To replenish its stockpiles, Ukraine even sent its best counter-drone specialists to the Middle East, hoping that in return, Middle Eastern monarchies would share their scarce air interception capabilities with Kyiv.
Let us add that the US has already stated that American troops do not need the assistance of Ukrainian specialists.
