Rape of a woman by migrants outraged Yakutia

6
In the morning of March 17, 2019 in the city of Yakutsk, the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), an unknown man forcibly put a resident of this city in a car and took him away in an unknown direction. After a while, the woman appealed to the law enforcement authorities for rape. The incident received widespread publicity.

Police are considering a version of the involvement of two more men in the incident. A suspected 23-year-old native of Kyrgyzstan and two of his accomplices have already been detained.

On the evening of the same day, a spontaneous rally (unauthorized meeting) took place in Yakutsk. Several hundred local residents gathered at it. They were greatly outraged by the incident and actively expressed their anti-migrant sentiments. One of the protesters was detained by police for shouting extremist statements. Therefore, the authorities asked citizens to gather the next day in the Triumph sports complex and calmly discuss everything.

The next day, a large number of people gathered in the sports complex. The meeting was addressed by the head of the republic Aisen Nikolaev and the mayor of Yakutsk Sardan Avksentiev.

As the Sakhalife, Avksentieva said that local residents should put things in order together.

I think our patience has burst (...) We are at home, in our city, as the owners of our land, and we need to convey this

- said the mayor to those present.

At the same time Nikolaev urged not to allow lynching, but emphasized that those responsible for rape would be tried in all severity. He promised that he would work on strengthening migration control in the region.

Our migration policy should and will be aimed at protecting the interests of residents of the republic. We will strengthen measures to combat illegal migration and its main source - illegal entrepreneurship

- Nikolaev emphasized, adding that he is not opposed to a particular nationality.

In turn, the chairman of the central committee of the Trade Union of Migrant Workers Renat Karimov told the Moscow Says radio station that rape of a woman in Yakutsk was used to incite ethnic hatred. He called the crime itself vile and outrageous. Then he apologized on behalf of all foreign workers for what happened.

But the rapist does not have a nationality, there are enough such vile people among Russians, as well as among Yakuts and other nationalities, including the Kyrgyz

- Karimov believes.

According to Karimov, the rise of nationalist sentiments in the regions of multinational Russia is unacceptable and dangerous.

As in gayrope who will be "raped" - there is a nationality of migrants.
And in Yakutia - "... the rapist has no nationality ..."
"Our patience has run out" - that is, this is not the first time they have?

Nationalism is not permissible and dangerous, no doubt, but the crime of migrant workers on foreign territory is unacceptable. And they must be judged cruelly and punished mercilessly!
