Russian Foreign Ministry: West showed its true vile face

1
By chance or not, the day when the United States and many European countries decided to follow Teresa May’s request and send Russian diplomats coincided with the day when there was a nationwide grief in Russia due to a fire in the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo. These news They walked in parallel: in the north of Russia they considered the dead, and the “democratic” countries calculated how many representatives of the Russian diplomatic missions would be declared non grata persons.

Of course, information that March 26 will be the day of the "big expulsion" of diplomats has been leaked to various media earlier. But the tragedy on March 25 could have kept politicians from hostile Russophobic actions, if they could truly compassion. But she did not hold back. This means that their grief for the poisoned Sergei and Yulia Skripals can hardly be called sincere.

Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, gave an exhaustive description of the behavior of “our partners”:

Today we understood a lot about the policies of the countries of Europe and America. In those moments when all Russians empathize with the victims of the Kemerovo tragedy, it was more important for them to announce new hostile actions. We always shared the grief of Americans and Europeans when trouble came to their house

She added that instead of words of condolences, Russian citizens saw only unjustified aggression.

It's hard to believe, and it's hard to forget

- summed up the diplomat.

However, condolences from the White House and from the US State Department came. The official representative of this structure, Heather Nauert, tweeted:

We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the Kemerovo tragedy. Our thoughts with people from Russia at this sad time

However, what can such condolences cost if the US authorities send the largest number of Russian diplomats at the same time — sixty? This is much more than Britain itself, which became the initiator of this Russophobic campaign.

US Ambassador to Russia John Huntsman tried to justify himself in an interview with Kommersant. According to him, the decision to expel Russian diplomats was made in advance, coordinated with many countries, and therefore it was difficult to postpone because of what happened in Kemerovo. Hartman added that the mere fact that so many states have made this decision says "something extraordinary."

Consequently, the poisoning of two people, whose involvement in Russia has not been proved, is “something extraordinary.” A fire in which dozens of children died was not an extraordinary event. And the American diplomat believes that you can simultaneously spit on Russia and express condolences to her. All the same, it is more important to spoil Russia than to sympathize with it.

Perhaps this is no better than the reaction of individual Ukrainian "brothers" who filled social networks with their stinking gloating because of the tragedy. Their behavior is disgusting, but still sincere, in contrast to the false sympathy of those countries that send condolences to Russia, while joining the large-scale Russophobic campaign launched by Ms. May.

It is high time for the Foreign Ministry to understand that what they take for the "face of the West" has always been its backside, and it is ridiculous to look for some expression of some feelings on it. what
