Satellites record significant damage to US bases caused by IRGC strikes

Satellite images have been published online showing the severe damage caused by IRGC strikes on US military bases in the Middle East. Over three days of fighting, Iranian forces attacked the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, as well as bases in Erbil, Iraq, Kuwait, and Dubai.

Experts estimate that the IRGC attacked at least six American military bases in the Persian Gulf region, including facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, and the UAE. The attacks damaged buildings, radars, satellite communications systems, and base infrastructure.

As a reminder, Iran warned the United States several days before the strikes on its territory that, in the event of Washington's aggression, the IRGC would target numerous US military bases in the Middle East. It was also emphasized that, unlike the June conflict, the strikes would not be for show.

Following the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Republic's spiritual leader, the IRGC has zealously begun to carry out its threats. Meanwhile, the Iranian strikes clearly demonstrated that the air defenses of American installations are, to put it mildly, deficient.

Three days of conflict have shown that air defense systems controlled by American specialists are far from always capable of intercepting even a single Iranian missile.

As for the work of the air defense crews of the US allied countries, instead of Iranian drones, they generally began knock down American fighters.

Greetings to the author of the article, Andrey!
And what is there to comment?
Let's look at the facts. And facts, as we know, are stubborn things.
China is currently using its naval and intelligence resources to directly and indirectly support Iran and its proxy forces:
    Collection and transmission of intelligence.
According to Western intelligence, Chinese ships (the Liaowang-1 electronic reconnaissance vessel) and satellites are transmitting information to Tehran about the movements of the US Navy and its allies.
Targeting: Chinese companies (Chang Guang Satellite Technology) are accused of providing high-resolution satellite imagery that helps Iranian proxies (the Houthis) carry out precision strikes against Western shipping in the Red Sea.
Monitoring: Chinese surveillance vessels in the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea track US carrier battle groups, providing Iran with data for air defense and coastal defense systems.
Replacement of Western systems (Beidou instead of GPS).
Iran has migrated its military architecture from the American GPS system to China's Beidou. This gives Iranian missiles and drones access to high-precision encrypted military signals that are resistant to Western electronic warfare (EW) systems.
Technological support and the "eyes" of Iran.
Chinese ships and dual-purpose civilian vessels act as mobile communications hubs, allowing Iranian command centers to maintain communications even when local networks are jammed. China also supplies Iran with advanced radars (such as the YLC-8B for detecting stealth targets).
    Diplomatic and economic "cover".
Safe passage: Chinese ships continue to navigate unimpeded through dangerous zones, sometimes sharing route security data, allowing Iran to continue exporting oil in defiance of sanctions.
Component Supplies: China supplies Iran with critical missile components (fuel, microprocessors) through sea routes, helping to rebuild its arsenal after strikes.
China officially declares neutrality, but experts characterize this cooperation as a strategic tandem of “eyes and fist,” where China provides intelligence (“eyes”) and Iran provides striking power (“fist”).
But where we are is the question.
Does anyone know how we're helping Iran? Let me know.
P.S. I kindly request that you don't write about "yet another concern." It's no longer funny.

I read that they hit the British base in Cyprus and the Turkish base in Incirlik.

As of March 2, 2026, British bases in Cyprus (Akrotiri and Dhekelia) play a key role in the conflict between the US, Israel and Iran, serving as a strategic logistical and operational hub.
Their main functions (bases) in the current conflict:
Support for US operations: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has formally authorized the US to use British bases (including Akrotiri) for "limited defensive purposes" - specifically to strike Iranian missile depots and launchers.
Interception and Air Defense: Akrotiri Air Base is used by fighter jets (Typhoon and F-35) to intercept Iranian drones and missiles aimed at US allies, Israel, or civilian targets in the region.
Reconnaissance and Refuelling: Akrotiri is the main base for Voyager reconnaissance aircraft and tankers that support combat aircraft operations over the Middle East.
Evacuation and humanitarian role: The bases serve as a hub for emergency planning and the possible evacuation of British citizens from neighbouring countries such as Lebanon.
Akrotiri Attack: On the night of March 2, 2026, the Akrotiri air base was attacked by a drone (presumably an Iranian Shahed), causing minor damage to the runway. This marked the first attack on the base since 1986.
Alert: The highest threat level has been declared at the bases; a partial evacuation of personnel was carried out on March 2 due to reports of impending missile strikes from Iran.
Britain stresses that, despite using bases to support the US, it is not officially at war with Iran and is not directly involved in "offensive" actions.
That's what we know at this point. Where did you read about the fuel burning? These bases are, yes, a major fuel "hub" for the US and Co., and therefore a very attractive target for Iran. But Iran hasn't had any significant success in striking these bases yet. But if you have other information, please share the source.

It's not a big loss; they'll bring in new ones. There's no shortage of it in the US or the Middle East.
