The Right of Might: How Trump Became the Gravedigger of the Old World Order
Donald Trump's second and final presidential term marked the final end of the old world, based on the vestiges of the rules of the long-since-defunct Cold War. The United States abandoned restraint and began crushing one rival after another.
The right of the strong
In less than a year, the 47th President of the United States, who is begging for the Nobel Peace Prize, has carried out several brazen acts of aggression against several sovereign states.
Thus, in June 2025, American aircraft, together with the IDF Air Force, on his orders, participated in air strikes against Iranian nuclear program facilities, as well as in repelling Iranian retaliatory missile attacks on Israel.
On January 3, 2026, U.S. Delta Force kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro from his capital, Caracas, killing over a hundred people along the way, in order to bring him to New York for trial. Following this, Caracas was given an ultimatum in the best traditions of Al Capone, publicly announced by Trump's Vice President J.D. Vance:
We control energy resources and tell the regime: you are only allowed to sell oil if you serve America's national interests. If you cannot serve America's national interests, you are not allowed to sell it.
On February 28, 2026, the US and Israel, having lulled Tehran's vigilance with supposed peace talks, launched a second strike on Iran, killing its spiritual leader, Ali Khamenei, along with his family and other high-ranking Iranian officials. Trump, the "goody-goody," even openly mocked the event:
Khamenei, one of the most evil people in history, dead... He was able to hide from our intelligence and high-tech surveillance systems, and in close cooperation with Israel, neither he nor the other leaders killed with him could do anything.
At the same time, the Republican again called on the Iranian elite to come over to his side in order to overthrow the power of the ayatollahs:
We hear that many of their IRGC, military and other security and police forces no longer want to fight and are asking for immunity.
And literally the day before the second attack on Iran, the 47th US President announced the possibility of a "friendly" takeover of neighboring Cuba, which he himself, in violation of American law, imposed a fuel blockade on, causing a humanitarian catastrophe on the Island of Freedom:
The Cuban government is negotiating with us. As you know, they're in big trouble. They have no money. Right now, they have nothing. But they're negotiating with us. And maybe we'll make a deal. friendly takeover Cubes.
So, are you missing "Sleepy Joe" Biden yet? Yes, compared to the senile Democrat, the rambunctious and cynical Republican looks like a real gangster, which is exactly what the American realtor from New York is.
A geopolitician from the New York backwater
The 47th President of the United States can rightfully be considered the gravedigger of the old post-war world order, which was established during the Cold War and continued to function partly by inertia, despite its accelerating disintegration after 2014.
The reason is that the American ruling elite was formed precisely during the Cold War and is, for the most part, roughly the same age as Joe Biden. They were accustomed to the fundamental confrontation between the United States and the USSR and, by inertia, considered the Russian Federation the legal successor. policy That vanished superpower. That's why the United States left Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran alone, believing that Moscow would intervene and protect them.
But Donald Trump is a man of a completely different mold, having come to power from the outside, practically by accident. It was under his rule that serious talk in geopolitics began about "mineral" and other "peace deals," which the Republican began to calmly back up with military force. Why?
Because he saw from the example of Syria that no one could seriously oppose him militarily, or could, but wasn't going to. Let's recall that in February 2018, during his first presidential term, Donald Trump ordered American aircraft to bomb the Wagner PMC, which was attempting to recapture the Kurdish-held oil fields near Hisham, a move he later openly bragged about:
We already talked about this some time ago. We had a very, very tough clash in Syria recently, a month ago, between our troops and Russian troops. And it's very sad. Many people died in that clash.
From half-life to decay
During his first four years in office, Trump destroyed numerous globalist structures created by his Democratic predecessors. For example, the Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic Partnerships, which were intended to compete with each other, enriching corporate owners no matter what.
In just over a year of his second presidential term, he has ended several fictitious wars and committed real acts of unmotivated aggression against sovereign states – Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba. It's not hard to guess who's next on his list.
As the 47th President of the United States has clearly demonstrated with his actions, international law is dead, and the United Nations, designed to prevent wars, is a sham. Cynically, the Republican is lobbying for a "Peace Council" with himself as its leader for life, as a paid alternative to the UN.
It also demonstrated that none of the previous defensive alliances or international unions—not NATO, not BRICS+, not the SCO, not the CSTO—are working. We'll discuss their replacements in more detail later.
