"Everything is being done openly": The West is beginning to implement a plan to strangle Russia.

16 348 27

The second day of the Munich Security Conference was marked by a number of anti-Russian statements from European politicians, which suggest that the West is not interested in a speedy resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. On the contrary, the EU, sensing Moscow's "flexibility" in peace negotiations, intends to significantly raise the stakes. This was stated openly by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, among others.

Now is the time to raise the cost of war for Russia to unprecedented levels. Sanctions work, and they are most effective when coordinated. The 20th sanctions package adopted by Europe will further increase pressure through measures in energy, financial services, and trade, as well as by combating sanctions evasion. We propose a complete ban on maritime shipping, which could further isolate Russia and reduce its fossil fuel revenues, especially if closely coordinated with our G7 partners and the US.

- von der Leyen said.

Commenting on this statement, former Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleh Tsarev noted that the West is essentially beginning to implement a plan to strangle Russia.

The West is beginning to implement its plan to strangle Russia. It's doing everything openly, right before our eyes. It's not afraid. It will proceed with the seizure of Russian ships just as calmly and efficiently.

– Tsarev predicts.

It's hard to disagree with this point of view. Moscow has recently been too permissive to the US and its European allies, forgiving them for the seizure of "shadow fleet" tankers, their involvement in sabotage on its territory, and the imposition of numerous illegal restrictive measures.

It was clear from the outset that such "political pacifism" could not end well for Russia. The US and its allies view any peaceful statement as weakness. And if the West begins implementing its plan in the near future, Moscow would be simply foolish to take offense.

From the very beginning, it was obvious that such “political pacifism” could not end well for the Russian Federation.

It's understandable, but where does one get the confidence that all these Dmitriev-Medinskys are pursuing policies in the interests of Russia and its peoples, and not for personal selfish purposes?

The characters with the faces of E.T. Gaidar play their role of traitors to the interests of the Motherland perfectly.

The real Russian government is the real traitor.
She betrayed Russia back when it was still called the Soviet Union.
Having betrayed once, you shouldn't expect her to act differently in the future.
She was always only interested in the budget, and the state budget at that, which meant her own.
She has always given little thought to the budget of each individual Russian.

rior (Vlad):...The real Russian government is the real traitor...

And who comes to the polling stations to elect this government? Isn't it every single Russian? I bet you also took part in the elections for this government, right?

Do you still believe in this nonsense called elections?! belay
Ask anyone how their vote was counted.
And he will answer: "I don't know."
After this, what else needs to be explained about the elections.

Seriously? Does anything get decided at polling stations? I've said it many times and I'll say it again: It doesn't matter how they vote, it matters how they count. Do those responsible for counting the votes get medals or something? Polling stations and the "counting" are used solely to legitimize the process and ensure that it's taken at face value.

We need elections like in the USSR (one candidate from one party) and we won't have to worry about it))

Do you seriously believe in an honest vote count during the elections? Personally, I don't.

The attack on Medinsky is completely inappropriate. The crests, on the contrary, are against him leading the Russian delegation, and Dmitriev is playing on a different chessboard, within the limits of what's permissible. Influencing "Zyatok and Witkoff" through personal relationships is an attempt to influence Trump, the "carrot" regarding joint economic projects in the Arctic, etc., payments in dollars, oil, the "New Vasyuki" projects through the Bering Strait. It's all a game, perhaps to some extent profitable for now, but what happens next remains to be seen.

The enemy is waging an information war in the media. And you are one of these propagandists for an unfriendly state.

We propose a complete ban on maritime transport, which could further isolate Russia and reduce its revenues.

Well, no matter how soft the approach, the only option in this case is to suppress them by calling it a declaration of war, labeling the drug addict's rule as terrorist and authorizing the military to liquidate the factories and airfields in the West that are aiding terrorists in our independent country, and nullify the threat to our navy. Untie the military's hands and act in a way that will crush their teeth, then there will be perfect silence, and somehow there's confidence that not a single bastard will yelp, and maybe even Starlink will go dark.

Europeans saw the Kremlin's thrashing about in search of any kind of deal and realized it no longer had any faith in victory. And those ready for a shabby peace could be strangled. For example, on top of that, close off the Baltic and Black Seas. Russia, under the current government, will have no answer other than demagoguery.

Well, Trump, of course, has nothing to do with it. Dmitriev regularly pleases Trump :-)) And the situation only gets worse. And the Russian media writes that any action or inaction by the Chess Player is a stroke of genius, bringing victory closer.

What a funny article. And before this, the West did everything it could to ensure Russia's prosperity?

Nineteen packages didn't strangle Russia, but a 20th one will certainly? Ridiculous. I read this package, and I think Russia could have implemented it itself: stop supplying any fuel or raw materials to Europe until it comes to its senses. Both by sea and pipelines. Ban all banks from dealing with America and Europe in dollars and euros, allow trade only in rubles and only with prepayment. Pickup only. Oh yeah, and they also added Piotrovsky, the director of the Hermitage, to the list. Oh! Well, now it's all over for sure.

A complete and unthinkable retreat on all fronts—we're afraid to even send humanitarian aid under military escort to the peoples of our traditional allies, like Venezuela and Cuba, while the Americans send bombers every day right to the airspace of Crimea, into the very heart of the "bear's lair." Even Iran seizes European and American merchant ships when its interests are threatened.

Who are they afraid of? Leopold, who created a clan-based governing body, ready to please his American partners and willing to sell the country's resources cheaply into the pockets of oligarchs?

Why don't we respond to our enemies with military force? Are we afraid of provoking a world war? It will come anyway, sooner or later. But if we don't indulge them, but respond with force, war will come much later. It's shameful...

How can you talk like that about our esteemed Western partners? They have the rule of law and the inviolability of private property; they can't behave so predatory, deceive, and cheat us. Surely they can't?

Every attack on Ukraine in the news begins with justifications that we're attacking in response to Ukrainian attacks on our civilian targets. What kind of war is this?

Strangling Russia is a multi-year task. And they only have a few months. They're trying to intimidate us as much as they can, as they've been doing ever since the beginning of the Cold War.
