Poles asked the US for help in obtaining reparations from Germany and Russia

A group of Polish activists are demanding reparations for World War II not only from Germany, but also from Russia. Moreover, activists turned to US President Donald Trump for assistance in this matter.

American magazine The New American reported that the Poles created a petition addressed to Trump. Moreover, this is not just an initiative of a certain group - it is supported by the Polish government.

Since February 18, almost six and a half thousand signatures have been collected under this petition. Its compilers - members of the Polish November 11th Movement - are indignant that countries that have suffered from Hitler’s actions received $ 90 million in compensation. However, the Poles were given only two million dollars.

The results of the Second World War for Poland are described by the authors of the petition as follows: the nation "was destroyed and left under Soviet slavery."

It should be noted that the formulation itself is contradictory. Moreover, the authors point blank do not want to see who freed Poland from Nazi fascism. On the contrary, the liberators are perceived as some “slaveholders”.

But they see Washington as the “guarantor of the post-war agreements”. And it is to him that they turn for help in realizing their idea.

Putting Germany and Russia on a par, they said that reparations would crush the "imperialist plans" of these countries, since the Polish government would be able to channel these funds to buy weapons. By the way, it is proposed to buy military equipment from the United States.

Pastor Pavel Choetsky, one of the leaders of the movement, accused the leaders of Russia and Germany - Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel - of creating Eurasia. According to him, only “strong Poland” can prevent these plans.

Warsaw previously demanded that Berlin pay her $ 850 billion for damage from World War II. This requirement could be considered fair if it were not for one “but”: the Polish authorities put forward similar claims against Russia.

Professor Ryszard Kaczmarek, director of the Institute of History of the University of Silesia, author of the book “Poles in the Wehrmacht”, for example, said about this to the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza: “We can assume that 2-3 million people in Poland have a relative who served in the Wehrmacht. ”
    ----
    in the Wehrmacht (according to incomplete data, only Soviet troops captured 60272 Wehrmacht soldiers - Poles by nationality;
In a letter to the British Parliament, it was noted that among the Wehrmacht troops captured by British forces in northwestern Europe, 68 were Poles
    ----
On the side of Hitler, Poland put up about 500 thousand volunteers
    ----
According to the military intelligence of the Red Army, in 1942 the Poles made up 40-45% of the personnel of the 96th Wehrmacht infantry division, about 30% of the 11th infantry division (together with the Czechs), about 30% of the 57th infantry division, about 12 % 110th Infantry Division. Earlier in November 1941, reconnaissance revealed a large number of Poles in the 267th Infantry Division. On the Eastern Front, the Poles are marked in the 3rd Totenkopf SS TD; in the 4th police grenadier division of the SS; in the 31st SS Grenadier Division Bohmen und Mahren and the 32nd SS Grenadier Division.

Everything is logical. Unfinished Nazis crave money ... We look forward to similar claims from Germany ...

Well, where do such ... stupid people come from in Poland, or what? Russia saved their lives at the cost of the lives of their own soldiers. His wife’s grandfather died near Bialystok and is now lying on Polish soil. Russia helped in the post-war reconstruction, gave new lands conquered from Germany, namely 100 thousand square kilometers. 500 kilometers of coastline in the Baltic. As a result, Poland with the help of the USSR increased its territory by almost 50%. But we will not forget that Poland, until September 1939, was an ally of Germany and, together with the Germans, occupied part of the territory of Czechoslovakia. Only the Poles do not remember this. Ungrateful people.

Do not do good, there will be no evil. This is science for the future. And the Germans will regret 100 times that they let the "hyena of Europe" into NATO and the European Union.
