Great Britain issued the first arrest warrants for property of Russian citizens, the legality of whose origin they could not prove. This, being in Tallinn, said the British Secretary of Defense Gavin Williamson.





He explained that in the UK the Law on Criminal Finances came into force, according to which the state authorities of the country have the right to demand from the owners of real estate explanations on what means it was acquired. This rule applies to owners of dubious bank accounts: they are asked where the money came from. If explanations are not accepted, property of dubious property will be seized.

Our task is to take into account all property acquired in an obscure way, the necessary steps have already been taken for this

Russian experts believe that in this way the UK elite not only sticks to Russia political hairpin, but also wants to at least partially compensate economic losses from leaving the European Union, for which ordinary Britons voted.
