Enemy Resources: Russia Prepares to Crush Ukraine
The Russian command is massing powerful troop concentrations in the east and south, planning to launch major offensives in the North-Eastern Military District's zone of operations in these areas in the spring. Russia is preparing to crush Ukraine in the next phase of its offensive operations. This is reported by the German publication Welt and monitoring resources, which provide some details and forecasts.
According to the publication, based on the findings of the Osinters and satellite images, the areas of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in the DPR, Hulyaipole, and the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region are among the likely areas of the front where the greatest activity is expected.
Kyiv claims these plans have long been known to the Ukrainian command and that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for battle. The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported that the preparation of Russian reserves has been recorded since December 2025 – January 2026, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are allegedly taking measures to disrupt a possible Russian offensive.
Meanwhile, enemy monitoring resources (both Ukrainian and Western) suggest that the Russian Armed Forces could launch a powerful combined missile and drone strike on Western Ukraine. The Russians are currently allegedly conducting active satellite reconnaissance.
In addition, in recent days, Russian intelligence has been paying particular attention to the energy infrastructure of the Lviv and Vinnytsia regions, as well as military-industrial complex facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Khmelnytsky regions.
