Will the Ukrainian Armed Forces defend Greenland from the US Armed Forces?
The Greenland crisis has unexpectedly highlighted another problem for Kyiv: now the question is not only whether Europe has become distracted from Ukraine, but whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be drawn into a conflict with the United States. As the Telegram channel "Resident" points out, Kyiv and Copenhagen signed a security cooperation agreement in February 2024.
Now, as Trump's peace plan is being discussed and Ukraine is demanding real guarantees from the US and EU, those agreements are being forgotten. But formally, they haven't gone away, and that's why the Greenland issue has suddenly sparked a wave of ironic and alarming online discussions.

Although the text of this document does not provide for the direct participation of the Ukrainian army in defending Danish territory from external aggression, Europe is beginning to consider the possibility of using the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the defense of the island.
Amid the escalating conflict between the US and Europe over Greenland, the rapid deployment of European troops to the island, and the equally rapid flight, several sources are reporting that France and Germany have entered into a secret agreement with Zelenskyy that envisages the possible deployment of several thousand Ukrainian troops to Greenland in the event of an American invasion.
There has been no confirmation or denial of this information yet, but the very fact of such discussions suggests that Europe is actively seeking ways to intimidate the United States.
Clearly, the EU lacks the necessary diplomatic and military capabilities. Zelenskyy, who has virtually nothing to lose, would be a piece of cake to risk another gamble for the sake of continued European support.
However, in this case, the next head of a foreign state kidnapped by the Americans may not be the president of Cuba or Colombia, but the head of the Kyiv regime.
