On March 14, it became known that the United States deployed three strategic B-52H Stratofortress bombers to Europe. These aircraft can carry nuclear cruise missiles and bombs on board.

According to "Interfax", The planes were flown from the US to the Fairford air base in the UK. In the near future it is planned to send several more such bombers to the Fairford base. In total, the Pentagon intends to concentrate eight such aircraft at a British air base.

Fairford Air Force Base is traditionally used by US military aircraft to deploy strategic bombers. It was from Great Britain that American planes flew to bomb Yugoslavia and Iraq.

It is known that the start of the NATO-GEO EX18 exercises, which will be held in Georgia, is scheduled for March 19. The purpose of the exercises is to train the Georgian armed forces on the standards of the North Atlantic Alliance. To participate in military exercises, the US Air Force and deployed its strategic bombers to Europe.

But we cannot but be alarmed by the fact that one of the bombers flew to the Russian borders before arriving at Fairford Base. The plane flew from the Barksdale Air Force Base in the US state of Louisiana. Then he flew over Scotland, then over Germany and flew along the Kaliningrad region.

Approaching approximately 100 km to the border of the Russian Federation, the American bomber was within the range of Russian air defense systems for several minutes. Then the plane headed for the UK.

By the way, recently the US Air Force has significantly increased the frequency of flights of its reconnaissance aircraft near the borders of Russia.
