Moscow reacted to the US seizure of the Russian-flagged tanker Marinera.

27 047 89

Moscow has demanded that Washington ensure humane and dignified treatment for Russian citizens aboard the Mariner oil tanker, which was detained by US forces. This was stated in an official statement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Russia is closely monitoring reports of the boarding of American military personnel on a Russian-flagged vessel. The ministry stated that the United States should not impede the speedy return of Russian nationals to their homeland and is obligated to strictly respect their rights and legitimate interests.

Formerly the United States Coast Guard задержала The Marinera oil tanker was seized in the North Atlantic. The U.S. European Command officially confirmed the vessel's detention. According to available information, the tanker changed course after its seizure and is currently being escorted toward Scotland.

The Pentagon had been monitoring the vessel since late December. During the pursuit, the tanker changed its country of registration and was added to the Russian registry, raising the Russian flag.

Against this backdrop, it is reported that the US Navy is continuing its pursuit of four more oil tankers. These vessels, located off the coast of Venezuela, also flew Russian flags, were added to the Russian ship registry, and were assigned home ports of Sochi and Taganrog. According to available information, an attempt to seize them by force may be made in the near future.

Earlier, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that the United States intends to detain tankers carrying Venezuelan oil around the world, regardless of their location or flag.

With Venezuela, things are different; there was a change of power there. The Americans bought everything and everyone.

And in Russia there is no need to even buy anyone, the entire leadership is already working for the US, some have even given half of the country's gold and foreign exchange reserves to support the enemy army.

In this case, it was an act of war against the Russian Federation, under the dubious pretext of "judicial" action, but with a clearly stated... oil goal.

Regarding debt write-offs, I recently listened to Khazin, and he explained how debt write-offs (bad debts) work: an interested party, but on behalf of the state, agrees to write off the debt, but first a certain amount must be transferred to a certain account. The debtor agrees; servicing the debt is expensive. And so the sheep are safe... Mother Russia writes off the debt (generosity and nobility, and nothing more), and the negotiating party receives a nice chunk of change. And so it goes, "all that's left is to curse."

Well, after such a disgrace, perhaps those involved should say they're tired and lack the strength and will to fight for Russians' rights. A new champion needs to be chosen. So, this is essentially an act of war, and he took a punch in the nose. So, does that mean all Russians can become "slaves" of the Anglo-Saxons in a cold and hungry colony? I mean, not in Rome or Egypt, where it's warm and the food grows on the streets, but in a country where they have to fight for survival, working from childhood until death for their right to live? Is such a life even necessary? For me, it's better to die in a nuclear holocaust than to be a slave...

Yes, citizens, the final station is near.
Since 2010, when the now-murdered Nemtsov published his report "Putin and Corruption," it's become clear that the country is headed in the wrong direction. His many comments about the "geostrategist" have become internet memes, using every available means to maintain his power, while simultaneously destroying all avenues for legitimate rotation, including the country's constitution. So what is the outcome of the Ozero cooperative's quarter-century of rule in our country?
Here they write that it's better to burn in a "nuclear fumes" than to be a "slave." A controversial statement. As Zhvanetsky recalled, "I don't understand why a good friend of mine says I'd rather go hungry, as long as the country is great! But isn't it possible to make it so that the country is great and there are no hungry people?"
    What is it for me?
And the fact is that a certain number of worthless people, unburdened by any moral principles, by prior agreement, having divided spheres of influence among themselves, plundered our country to the ground, destroying everything most valuable that had been created before them: education, science, culture, industry, healthcare, elevating greed, avarice, laziness, money and war into the cult of "Russianness", as a way of existence, strengthening and prosperity of this power.
And so, the world's most powerful and enormous state, possessing colossal economic and military potential, is preparing to become a corpse. Is this the "achievement" of our government over its 30 years of existence? Is this the proverbial "rise from its knees"?
Europe is currently deciding whether to launch a full-scale war with Russia or wait a bit. Trump is gutting Russian ships, the Chinese are keeping a close eye on the "Northern Territories," and our sun-faced leader wants to quietly live to 150 in his bunker on a pile of money. Without us.
The West doesn't want a radical solution to the problem of the insane Russian government, as happened in Venezuela three days ago. So, it's not just our government that needs this war! But once again, the people of the Russian state will be the ones to bear the brunt of this war. Ukraine is a Pandora's box opened by the Ozero cooperative; it is the first victim of the global nuclear apocalypse looming on the horizon. And countless Russians have already died there, on both sides, to the delight of the organizers and instigators of this war. Perhaps it's time to stop this before it's too late, before the big guns start roaring. Perhaps there's still time.
Unless, of course, we quickly repeat the Venezuelan gambit...

I don't understand why there's so much whining in the comments. You should be happy – now you don't have to negotiate with anyone and can do what you love for at least ten or fifteen years))). And our sailors will be released soon.

It turned out the crew was mostly Ukrainian. Only two people were Russian.
20 crests, including the captain, 6 Georgians))) And the downvoters here almost declared war on America)) By the way, the percentage of users on the forum here is probably the same)) Well, now the Ukrainian captain will be tried for transporting Venezuelan oil))

We can only defend our flag and ships by asking for good treatment of sailors, but we are talking about the leadership of a multipolar world, where people's money, ships, and the lives of civilians are being taken away as if it were nothing, and all we can do is express our indignation.

Moscow demanded that Washington ensure humane and dignified treatment of Russian citizens.

And if demands don't help, will we have to beg in abject humiliation? Between shame and war, who would choose shame?

Where are Putin's latest missiles, the Hazelnut Petrels that our media claims NATO and the US are in shock over? Why didn't he use them against the American ship that carried out the attack?

She responded with a most humble request to graciously allow the Russian team to return to their homeland.
It's harsh, you can't say anything.

For decency's sake, at least call the ambassador and deliver a note.

For decency's sake, at least call the ambassador and deliver a note.

There's no point in distracting people from their work. Besides, it's cold for the ambassador now, driving around Moscow. Dmitriev will go to Florida and deliver the message. And at the same time, he'll tell everyone about the State Duma's harsh response: https://news.mail.ru/politics/69359685/?frommail=1&md=1

Moscow reacted to the US seizure of the Russian-flagged tanker Marinera.

Apparently, Stalin also had to demand that Germany in June 1941 respect the rights of our citizens captured by the Nazis.
