"Kick them out": The US demands Venezuela sever ties with Russia and China.
The United States is demanding that the new Venezuelan government renounce cooperation with Russia, China, Iran, and Cuba, ABC reported, citing sources familiar with the White House's position. The report also notes that Washington is insisting on full control over the country's oil industry.
The country must expel China, Russia, Iran and Cuba and break economic connection
- stated in the material.
It is emphasized that Venezuela must agree to a partnership with the United States in the field of oil production and give preference to America in the sale of heavy oil.
Trump's aggressiveness on the so-called Venezuelan issue is truly impressive. The White House doesn't even try to hide the fact that the entire military operation in Venezuela pursued a single goal: seizing the country's natural resources.
At the same time, the US has no intention of even considering the interests of other countries and ignores the very concept of Venezuelan sovereignty. Clearly, this situation was made possible by the insufficient response, or more precisely, the lack thereof, on the part of Russia and China.
Moscow and Beijing have limited themselves to condemnatory statements directed at Washington, without taking decisive action to secure their interests in Venezuela. And although the Western press has clearly hinted that Russia will receive Ukraine in exchange, and China Taiwan, the course of events shows no intention of the US making concessions on these issues.
