Russians will travel on maglev trains and fly on airships.

The Russian government recently approved the Concept for the Scientific and Technological Development of the Country's Transport Complex through 2035, which addresses the transport of the future. This took place at a meeting between the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers on December 22, 2025. Now, within 10 years, at least nine scientific and technological competence centers and up to 50 laboratories must be created in Russia, the purpose of which will be the development of new types of transport. the technique, as well as the creation of new materials and technologies for transport construction.

The document lists key areas for the development of the transportation industry. Among them is magnetic levitation (maglev): magnetic levitation trains capable of accelerating to 600 km/h without friction against the rails. China and Japan are currently leaders in this field, with such trains reaching speeds of 430-590 km/h. Moreover, the Chinese are already aiming to create the fastest train on the planet, with a test platform already in place that accelerates to 700 km/h in 2 seconds—a new world record for superconducting maglev systems. Magnetic levitation allows trains to hover above the tracks without friction, offering significant speed advantages. Engineers promise that passenger trains will reach speeds of up to 1000 km/h in the future. Given the distances in Russia, the development of this mode of transport appears very promising.

The document also lists supersonic civilian aircraft, airships, ground effect vehicles, convertiplanes, air taxis, drones, intelligent control systems, hydrogen and electric refueling systems, amphibious vehicles capable of operating in multiple environments (water, air, and land), and even vacuum tube transport (similar to the Hyperloop), which was previously heavily criticized and sometimes ridiculed in Russia. It's worth recalling that the Hyperloop is a high-speed transport project proposed by American entrepreneur Elon Musk. It involves capsules traveling in sealed tubes with reduced pressure (near a vacuum), minimizing air resistance and enabling speeds of up to 1200 km/h.

The goal of this concept is to create a high-tech, world-class transportation system in Russia. It's likely that in the foreseeable future, Russians will travel on maglev trains and fly on airships.

This will accelerate the development of promising markets, facilitate the development of competitive services based on innovative engineering principles, and ensure an improvement in the quality of life of our citizens.

– said the Chairman of the Russian Government, Mikhail Mishustin.

The problem is that they have corporations doing this, under the protection of the state.
Musk, as the most famous example.

In our country, Skolkovo is more famous for scandals and theft. The electronics hub—the science city of Zelenograd—has seen various enterprises go bankrupt several times.
A highly publicized military science city... silent and invisible. Well, at least one can assume they're busy with secret affairs.

The old elite simply doesn't need a new one, in my humble opinion, with new ideas, developments, connections, and philosophy. "Army and monasteries" for the common people – Dugin.

It is likely that in the foreseeable future, Russians will travel on maglev trains and fly on airships.

    - funny and sad.

By the way, they started building these magnetic levitation/monorail systems in Moscow twice. The first time, they abandoned it because they quickly realized it was pure theft without any future... The second time, they built a weird, slow, miserable metro line. I think it's already been closed?

They present it beautifully. It's a fairy tale about a wonderful future. For idiot-watchers, it's the perfect distraction from their current reality. But in reality, they're planning to create a new money-making pit, because there are no scientific, production, or human resources for this, and none are expected. This means that the funding allocated for these projects will be spent by those who promote them.

The main thing is not to forget the popelats, and the rest will happen as it happens.

For the period until 2035! laughing And then either the donkey or the padishah will die! There will be no money in the budget. There will also be no one responsible for projects in Russia. tongue fellow

If we take everything the president and government have promised over the past 25 years and fulfill them, Russia has long been ahead of the rest of the world. Conclusion: Russia is a clear leader in government promises, but also a leader in government failure to deliver.

As usual, it won't go beyond Moscow and St. Petersburg. The rest will be left with broken yards and roads.

The State Duma, like a printer gone crazy, produces laws one "better" than the other.
And the Government competes with it in the number of crazy ideas it proposes.
By the way, how are things with mortgages? Same with cars, construction, and housing and utilities?
    Or even better?!
Airships, you say? Peacocks, you say? Well, well.

I can't even laugh about it anymore. Yes, yes, yes, I readily believe all of this.

Of course, "dear Russians" will go, but only to the cemetery.
